Great, love your videos man. Last year I figured out the same chord shape by accident why noodling, but didn't really make the connection with De Mysteriis riff until I saw a video of yours long before that one and I was- a ha! Awesome progression.

Great video! Does anyone know what this chord shape is called? I think in a previous video it was identified as some kind of 9th inversion but chord analyser seems to suggest it’s a CMaj7/E. Thanks!! 🙏
@DevGohil2 ай бұрын
yeah that's right, i guess you can call it a 5th chord with added b6 if you want to aswell

This is clearly how its played on the record, but they don't play it live this way unfortunately

TBH, it's not easy for people with small fingers. Everytime I try to play this, I mute some string by accident.

It’s quite hard to keep consistent

That main riffs chord shape is too hard to play fast and consistent live even tho Teloch an Ghul are master guitarists
@coldacre7 ай бұрын
this is not how it was played. Euro wasnt a spider-finger. he played it the regular way.... E power chord on the A & D strings, frets 7 & 9. adding the open B string on the way down. move the hand up a fret.... that simple @luiz_sickboy
Any idea why they (and some other BM bands as well) tuned to 432 rather than 440hz?
@YouTubeaccount48473 Жыл бұрын
They did it in order to be eDgY.

The 2nd part starts from F, not E. You made the same mistake in your previous vid on this riff

@@DevGohil Did some further research on this and indeed, on the record it's most probably E, not F, but live they play it with F. Anyway, it's easier with E🙂
@trygvegrundvik9811 ай бұрын
I've always played it with the F, and it actually bothers me a lot that they've been playing the E on record all this time.
