Well actually Dead was Mayhem's 5th or 6th vocalist. Originally Euronymous and/or Necrobutcher sang (on the Pure Fucking Armageddon demo, sources vary on this) -> Messiah -> Maniac (who did the deathcrush EP) -> Kittel -> Dead

Great performance. I love the 'Dead' intro from live in Leipzig. I've never seen Necrobutcher in costume before. Attila needs to swap one of those white candles on his altar to a black one. But the vocals were bad ass

Mayhem are finally in there groove as a live act.I'd say it started right when Attila came back into the fold for sure. check out live videos of them from like 10 years ago and it was very boring... I saw them at the whiskey in Hollywood with maniac and that performance was like a fucking Roadside Attraction at a saloon.They all looked like gothic bikers 👎 the way they all look now a days complete with the Kick-Ass atmosphere on stage is quickly making them untouchable.They are nailing it every night 👊
