Bev is an amazingly open-minded, level-headed and respectful person. The fact that she is able to relate with other people's stories not in a judgemental but rather conversational and compassionate way shows how much work she has done and that she is still willing to work on herself and learn new things. I am in awe! ❤

I’ve been wondering where Bev was and hoping all was well with her! This is my first time watching vs. listening via the podcast. It’s funny how you get an image of someone in your brain just from the voice - and I was not even close ! 😂 I do love listening to her take on the guests. It’s interesting, I felt the same as she did about Sarah Silverman’s episode. Your podcasts are always informative and real. It’s nice to remove the ‘hype’ and see a real person. I always take something away from each podcast. I’d love to hear Bev discuss Michael A Singer sometime. Wishing you all peace.

Why the day I can’t watch Bialikbreakdown live is the day you broadcast a most longed for BEVISODE???? 😭😭😭 May I say again that Beverly Bialik there made the best episodes? I love her. And her wisdom! How fortunate is Mayim having you as a mom! I’m older than Mayim..but can you adopt me? Said that, and regarding S. Silverman and same Beverly: my grandma lost her first kid, a 2 years-old boy the same day she was giving birth to my mom. She could never hug nor be with him in his the last minutes of life. That fact crippled my mom’s relationship with my grandma for life. How wise was Bev’s remark! Hearing what you always though in the mouth of others is so healing…

What Mayim's mom went through was exactly what my mom went through when my dad passed away. People try to say something "constructive" like "you have to move on". As well intentioned they they were, sometimes it's just better to hear the person out and how they are feeling versus trying to make them feel better because people do process grief differently. People generally don't sit well with the discomfort of emotions even though they themselves aren't going through the grief of loss.

Bevvv!!!! ❤️ Been missing the Bevisodes. I love Bev’s take on things and I resonate with her so often. I also love seeing Mayim and her Mom, from the moments Mayim wants to crawl under the table to when they hold each other up with such love and respect. Being real. The fact that Bev started therapy later in life, and she’s reaping the rewards makes me respect her so much. Not to leave Jonathan out, I hear you when you took issue with saying someone suffers from a mental illness. When I think of my mom being bipolar, yes 100% I think of it as an illness because it was a chronic brain chemical condition that, when left unmedicated, wreaked havoc on her ability to have a healthy perception of herself and the world and sometimes made my life a living hell. But I prefer to say she lived with it rather than suffered from it. Just like my Dad LIVED with cancer for 25 years.

Philanthropic desires in someone who is suffering a lot over a long period of time can be a way to try to justify, or give meaning to, persevering in spite of the suffering. It's like, my life is shit, but maybe I can help save someone else from having to experience pain like I am, and *that's* worth something in the grand scheme of things.

I think Bev needs to help get the word out to older people and the benefit of therapy. I'd love to see my parents (75 & 80) for example to go. I've tried and tried... but I think it could be so powerful, even at 80. My brother just passed at 44 -- and I my mom does her thing, but I think if she heard of benefits of older people going... it could really help.

I actually prefer the term mental illness for myself. I can be physically ill and it's significant and needs treatment, and I see mental illness as the same. Sometimes it's chronic and can't be "healed", but for me, it needs to be treated as any other illness and I prefer not to get into the specifics of what my mental illnesses are.

Mayim seems to be struggling psychologically… I watch the channel because I love the information that she is going for, but it’s almost a little painful to get because you can see her projecting such an insecurity and stuff in the way that she interacts with her guests. But there are good parts as well… I think she could come a long way if she was able to have some self-awareness.. like, in so many of her celebrity interviews or any interview, it’s always about her… She just really seems to be seeking and affirming some sort of validation which now I can see she gets from her mom which at least her mom sees in her own self. It just seems very very visible to me, I feel it’s too bad sometimes people can’t see something like that. Also, a lot of when she does that , her voice changes into this comical but almost condescending jokester voice… Interesting

Please don't bring homophobia here. Mayim said that her name means water in Hebrew. Thank you.
@farah68622 жыл бұрын
@@smlorrin I didn’t say that I hate people who are homosexual themselves . What I meant that I hate what they are doing because it opposes the nature. Naturally, men marry women and make their own families. By spreading and practicing homosexuality, people won’t be able to have children, so productivity won’t exist in this life. To be more clear, I mean that we ‘ll reach a point when we no longer being able to build this life. At the beginning of human creation, exactly after the creation of Adam, Eve was created to be a helpmate in living his life. And after that , they had children and until this moment, human are trying to build life and make it more and more better. I hope my message is clear
@smlorrin2 жыл бұрын
I don't agree with your logic. Not everyone will become homosexual if we accept those who are homosexuals and allow them to be themselves. Homosexual people can be wonderful adoptive parents, and females can still have natural-born children. Homosexual people have loving families the same way heterosexual people do. Also, not everyone wants children; that's their choice. Don't even start with the Eve as helpmate trash. If that's your belief system, that's fine, but don't force it on everyone else or try to limit half of humanity because of your belief system..
