I love your method of making a template with the matting measurements and corresponding letters to panels. I have a problem if I make something and then go back to make another one and have to determine the sizes again. Also, I like the idea of having all the mats cut out and then just glue. It makes the process that much faster. I may use this template idea for a number of other items.

I like the way your doing the 'stationary box. It is good to make a sample, when you do the first and you need a guide. Plus there are time when you do a few and you would like to do another but you could not fine the you tube that show you how. I really think this is really good to give as gift. Made my template box & love it! Only change I made was in the length of the notepad cover. Made it to where a 3x3 post it sticky pad will fit inside the cover. That way it can be refilled when it gets empty!
