My son and I came to Exchange a Maytag Commercial Technology Washer at Lowe's this washer only worked for two weeks since this washer was new , we call for a technician to com at the house to fix it ,the repair man cannot fix the problem so we decided to replace the washer and brought it back to Lowe's and thats how we met Chris the Manager and he did everything in his power to push 2 buying customers away ,fore something that should be simple like Exchanging a Washer ... I can say so much more but the one the counts the most is.. Chris I'm never shopping at Lowe's again .. I know Home Depot is going to love this

Radu also bought a maytag MHW3505FW1 washer from Lowes with an extended warranty. at 11 months washer start button wouldn't work. Maytag had me reset washer. Worked for anouther month now won't start again. Turns on, no error coded but start button won't start no matter how long my finger is on it... Lowes completely USELESS! Refuse to do anything even though when I originally bought machine with said "10 year warranty" and an extended warranty add on, Lowes sales person said " If it breaks and can't be fixed we'll replace it" , that's a joke... Now Lowes says they won't do a thing and refers me to the extended warranty company that Lowes sold the policy for. That company has sent me to three different repairmen who all refuse to work with Maytag. I agree LOWES IS A NIGHTMARE COMPANY! #NeverBuyMatag or shop at Lowes again!

I am done buying stuff from Lowes and they don’t know how to appreciate customers and they lie to the customers I hope you get it fixed is the only way you’re going to get your money out of it 😂🤔

I assume you cleaned out the filter by opening the back of the machine and looking for the screw out filter. But then try the video "how to reset a maytag maxima washer machine" on you tube.

@@meradu2 It's actually in the bottom of the machine but accessed from the back. You should clean it out at least once a year or so. You have to undo several screws and 4 plastic retainers to remove the back.

I have to tell you something, my dryer was beeping 36 times and made an error but they fixed it by restarting the dryer

same problem here. I tried pressing and holding individual buttons and like power and start. I pulled the plug and retried no luck. and again. Then waited a few minutes... it was left on and turned off by itself in a couple minutes. I then pushed the on button and start. It then started to make a lock sound wash again. Edit: same problem again. Removed door to find a bunch of smelly gunk in the filter.

Tried this, not working for me. Today is Monday and no one can repair 'til Thursday. Had the washer since May, 2017. First problem July, 2018 when washer would stop after wash/spin cycle but would not rinse. This time it's the door that clicks, as a result wash cycle won't begin. Can't get it unlocked to at least get the clothes out. That's 2 strikes. This better not happen again.

@@meradu2 Update!! I kept trying and finally got the door open. I WILL be letting Lowe's know that a problem on Monday shouldn't be scheduled for repair the following Thursday.

To perform the Master Reset, carefully unplug the washing machine from the power outlet and leave it unplugged for one minute. After one minute is up, plug the washer cord back into the wall. Next, open and close the door of the washing machine 6 times within 12 seconds to send a “reset” signal to all the components.

According to the manufacturer, the error means the door could not lock. Check the door for obstructions when you close. To remove error, reboot the washer To remove displayed code: Press the Pause or Cancel button twice Press the Power button once NOTE: The method for removing the displayed code varies by model I hope this helps you Have a bless day

I forgot to turn water back on after vacation, and got the F8 error, but could do nothing. This simple diagnostic saved the day, and a whopping big repair bill.
