Niiice! Got the parts yesterday! Updated software today and installing the new usb hub tomorrow. Already miss the AIO tweaks tho. Hopefully this is all worth the effort as it’s an “official” replacement vs previous hack. Might do a video to complement yours...

Update! Finished the install. You don’t need the special trim tools. All trim pulls apart by hand which is phenomenal. Oh- I didn’t have a screw in my cup holder?? I have a 2016 Mazda 6

Where did you find v70 update for the software? Dealer wants to charge me $135 to update it so I want to do it myself but can't find it. The instructions on my parts say that I need v70.00.21 or later.

Thanks for the great video. Recently I installed in my 2017 Mazda 6 the Android Auto/Carplay. All went well. Only one problem, the touchscreen isn't working under Android Auto, works great with the iPhone. Frustrating, don't even know where to start looking. Help if you know. Thanks.

Finally some help for my 2017 6 thanks...and one quick question... How did u remove that top part near the odometer gauges

Use a similar trim tool as in video and start on bottom right of that piece which is left of Start button 4-5 inches below and even with the middle of steering column. That is the only clip on that piece that will offer a little resistance. After that you can use the trim tool to work all the way around or might even have enough gap to use your hands. Also once you disconnect the wires from the hub just push that entire piece to rear of car to separate. I fought with the hub for a few minutes trying to release the four clips but two of them are not easily accessible.
