It's an issue known by the dealer, that they will fix for free. From what I have been told it's a plastic piece at the lower part of the windshield, that will start vibrating at high speeds. Over all its a very nice car and I hope you will have lots of fun with it

I have a Mazda 6 2022 with the same engine and transmission. Last time I did 233 km/h and was hoping the CX5 to do it as well, but I believe due to the aerodynamics and weight of the car it can not get this far. Do you think you could have pushed it further or was this the absolute speed limit?

My 2016 2.5L naturally aspirated Mazda CX-5 reached 130 mph and I still had some throttle left. But at this kind of serious speed I was struggling with handling. It's a great sky active engine and I wasn't even using sport mode. In spot mode CX-5 doesn't shift on 6th gear and maximum stay at 5th. So it's a good idea not to use sport mode if you are trying to see what is the max speed you can get out of the CX-5. Great video 🤞

@@mdashiqurrahman39 yes it’s awd, since it’s the 2015 it doesn’t have sport mode, I can take traction control off and I can use manual mode that’s about it, no sport mode. I was using 87 octane, but I don’t think the octane would make a difference, it climbed all the way up to 110 with ease, as soon as it got to 110 the rpm’s wouldn’t go past 4k so I think it has a limiter.

The 2021 version above has great handling with G Vectoring control. I have a CX3 2016 2.0 Fwd and CX5 2023 2.0 Fwd the GVC makes big difference

Exactly the same CX9 turbo performance, it goes fast from 60 to 140km/h, but it takes time or does not manage to exceed 220, after all very fun and fast vehicles but a little far from the premium in speed ☺️

** IF ** you are looking for a used 2021 CX-5 with a Turbo 2.5L PLEASE have it looked at by a mechanic. ALL Turbo '21 2.5L Mazda Models have been suffering from oil consumption issues due to the valve guides/seals leaking. There is a Mazda TSB as well as a CA lawsuit that has been filed. Not sure if this was caused by supply chain issues back then? It was during the height of the pandemic. -Note: Some '21 2.5L Turbo models are unaffected at this time, and the normally aspirated ones so far are fine as well.

Das sind die gummis der frontscheibe die scheibe muss aus und nochmal von neu eingebaut werden. Mit der zeit entstehen verschiedene abstände der scheibe zu der Karosserie, beim erreichen von einer hohen Geschwindigkeit in diesem fall über 200 fangen die gummis an zu vibrieren und zu flattern. Das ist das Geräusch

If you do travel longer distances on regular bases I would always go for the diesel it’s just so much more efficient. If you travel a lot of short distance a petrol would probably be the same tyre choice

Outlander is shit if you’re comparing it to cx5. I would instead buy an evoque with 10k add on. No way I’m gonna spend 55k on a cheap looking suv. And to the question you asked, I’m driving a cx5, everything is much more superior in a cx5 in comparison to outlander.

Actually, not the tires. Probably whistling from roof rack/front molding gap... will update when I cover mine with vinyl. Mine will whistle like that @100mph, but it goes away if you vent the moonroof => change the way the air comes over windshield => whistle goes away

I was able to top speed my stinger a few weeks ago.It sat at 5k rpms also in top gear and was able to keep 162 to 165 mph-if I gave it any more gas the turbos would kick in and it would just bounce off the governor.I was also ahead of my buddies 392 charger--by at least 4 car lengths--he could not get over 165 and said his car also sat in top gear at about 5k rpm but if he floored it it would downshift and was at redline and would not gain speed and then just shifet back into top gear.We had heavy crosswinds.

@@TopSpeedBrothers I actually sold the Stinger and bought a CX-30.Loved the car but the price went up and I was able to outright buy the CX-30 premium plus with every option and pocket several thousand dollars.Stinger is a low sitting sports car and it is great for most things--but I plan on going to the mountains when covid lifts and some of the roads up there need 6 inches or more of ground clearance.The CX-30 is a nice balance and can hit 60 in mid 5 which is still very quick.Stingers are great for the money but they are way overpriced right now and i took advantage.I think my next vehicle will be an AMG 45 GLA--sitting up much higher and not worrying about my rims getting ruined and the front skirts getting scraped is wonderful.

I get it, I think you did the smart move. i would have done the same. I think a higher up more comfortable car is a much nicer experience. Having a sporty car on a great road is a fantastic feeling but does it outweigh all the compromises you have to take every day driving a sporty low to the ground car, in my opinion no, especially if you stay in a big city. and let's face it even a modern and soft SUV is very capable when driven hard. The CX30 is a great one of my favorites and the interior is great

@@TopSpeedBrothers I plan on getting much better sportier tires on the CX-30 when the time comes to hunker it down a little bit more--more to the sporty end then offroad--which will be perfect.Mazda balanced this car out to have performance and offroad ability and they nailed it.The guy that helped develop the CX-30 made sure it was decently capable offroad.I am an outdoor person and sadly I only thought about performance when I got the Stinger--and there were many places that having a Stinger was unfeasible. Man if they just put that 3.3TT or 3.5 TT in an AWD KONA for under or around 45k would be nice--but until then the CX-30 will do.Also the CX-30 can get going very quick--a lot of torque down low for what is.

I have been told that it's the plastic at the lower edges of the windscreen and that it can be fixed by gluing it to the screen with a little bit of sealant.
