so hey, i don't know if you remember. a while back, i was asking if you had any idea how to rebuild the differentials on these things. turns out it's much simpler than i thought. i had a retard moment when i disassembled mine, because every rebuild i've ever done the assembly had a crush washer. if you find yourself having to do a rebuild, there is a shim between the front pinion bearing and the pinion. this shim is what determines friction torque/pinion bearing preload. i kind of feel like an asshole for taking so long to figure this out.
