Thanks for another very useful video! You didn't mention the endshaft splines. Can we assume they are identical on all the three 'boxes?

Great question... Yes, all are identical in that they have 22 spline on all three endshaft.

That was a great trans break down. I have one on my RX2 that looks like the RX4 is it possible that the REPU has that trans. I was told the one I have is a REPU 4 speed trans. It has that black plastic circle cover to look inside. Let me know what you think. Another great video my friend keep up the great content.

I did leave out the REPU by accident. The REPU does share (length, gear ratios, etc...) the same transmission as the Rx4.

I have a 13b with a 5 speed in my 72 Datsun 1200 sedan, question is I believe the mission is from a rx4, can I take an 82-transmission center gear box and switch it with my rx4 gear box, my rx4 mission is making nosey but still shifts. Don't want to cut anything out on the car body.

No, both transmission are completely different. Starting with the 82 tranny, the shifter sits farther back so location for shifter won't be in same position but I dont think you have a Rx4 tranny since they came 4 speed only. If you have a 5speed is more likely from Rx3 SP or early Rx7 like 79/80 they are shorter than 82 I'm just speculating without seeing your transmission...
