9:51 You've only used the finish compound but it's perfectly shiny, do i actually need the coarse and fine compounds ?
@JunsMiniGarage4 жыл бұрын
I only use the Finish compound on this car because the body has been wet sanded with 2000-12000 grit which makes the car very smooth. If I wet sanded with 2000-3000 only then I will polish it with fine and finish compound. Both results are good. You don’t always need to go up to 12000.

Maybe just start building and learning by doing, Tamiya and Aoshima kits are great for first time builders as they usually have good fitments, you only need a few basic tools to start and don’t worry about the result and quality, just enjoy the experience.
