Wasn't a rotary failure, sometimes the oil injectors get a bit carried away when slowing down from a high-speed run, the effect is a nice plume puffing out the back end. Fix is, slow her to highway speed, baby the throttle a bit to burn off the access, and you are squared away.

In the 5 speed it's best to stretch the 4th gear as much as possible. You can top 4th at 202KM/h. In 5th, you're pretty much lugging the engine due to shitty gear ratios, therefore overheating, which is what happened here.

It actually "overheated" in 3rd gear at higher revs, before the top speed run happened :)

Honestly very slow for 192hp. I have Mazda6. 2005 2 litres petrol 140 hp top speed 230 km/h

This video was made by a moron. I got my 8 over 150mph plenty of times. Check other videos online. Your 6 would be far in the rearview.

Don't trust anyone who does a top speed video and keeps it in top gear the whole time. These cars are good for 150mph+

that's just BS. This car wont get close to 150mph without a tune. As you can see at the end, the car didnt like being revved out in lower gears, so I had to choose a higher gear. Didn't matter for the top speed though.
