Hi great videos. Can u tell me if these pads will work on the mazda demio as well? 2009 series
@HiroshimaSpirit7 жыл бұрын
+mahabirsinghm I don’t see why not. The 2/Demio were mechanically the same from 2007 until they went out of production.
@mahabirsinghm7 жыл бұрын
Thanks bro. Can u give me specs on those pads so can order. In the Caribbean only getting the regular pads not ceramic
@HiroshimaSpirit7 жыл бұрын
+mahabirsinghm The part number should be in the video. 👍🏻

I see this is a year old but from what has happened to me, if it's a 1.3l Demio both the pads and shoes are smaller. Though never did sit down and try and find another car that uses same size stuff.

Thanks for this video! I'm looking at replacing my rotors because my current Mazda 2's rotors are warped. Are the rotors you used optimal only for track driving or are they fine for daily driving too?
@HiroshimaSpirit3 жыл бұрын
There’s nothing special about the rotors I use. They’re good for everything. 👍🏻

Great video! Thanks so much. Any idea of the torque setting for the caliper bracket bolts? I can't find it anywhere!

Good-n-tight has always worked for me. Don’t know the torque spec.

Great vid. Question for you any chance do you know if the calipers for the the US 1.5 fit the Japanese 1.3. Demio?
@HiroshimaSpirit5 жыл бұрын
I’m not 100% sure this is the case, but I see no reason why it’s not all interchangeable. You would of course need the 1.5 rotors and any other applicable hardware. If I had to guess, it’s as easy and unbolting and replacing with a full 1.5 setup.

I just changed out the brake fluid on my 2008 Mazda 2 yesterday! Quite a simple process to do yourself, however I feel I may have stripped a little bit of material from the bleeder valve as I managed to turn them the wrong way to loosen and they made a sort of cracking noise :/
@HiroshimaSpirit7 жыл бұрын
+Daniel Jenkins Ouch! Well, at least it wasn't a full on breakage. 👍🏻

Hello! I really like your videos, I also have a mazda 2 2010 , I wanted to ask you if u knew what kind of LED kit could i get for my mazda, for the headlights , tail lights and the fog lights , if u know anything about this please let me know , Im searching like crazy but im not sure which Kit i can buy for my mazda
@HiroshimaSpirit7 жыл бұрын
+FranShuter A company called Auxbeam makes plug and play LED headlight kits. You just have to select the kit meant to replace whatever the stock headlight size is. The fog and tail lights, however, I don't know about. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

thank you!! how can I figure out the size of the stock headlight?

Hiya. Instead of a hammer or mallet and knocking the disc (rotor) off, use a small long screw bolt and fit that to the small hole on the front of the disk is there to pop the disk off. keep screwing it in and the disc comes straight off.
@HiroshimaSpirit6 жыл бұрын
Sure, if you’ve got a bolt that fits. A rubber mallet or some light tapping with a hammer wrapped in cloth isn’t going to hurt the steel rotor and I guarantee it will come off in less time. And if you’re replacing the rotor, hit it with whatever you want. It’s going in the bin anyway.

awesome video man. (should have added a disclaimer at the beginning saying make sure to wear gloves, then you could have shown the cut lol) did you look into the carbotech ax6 pads? had them on my na8 and we're amazing, will be looking at them for my 2.
@HiroshimaSpirit7 жыл бұрын
+that guy I didn't want that aggressive of a pad for a car that's not on a race track 99% of the time. I still want to hopefully daily this setup if the dust isn't as extreme as people say.
@whtrabt7 жыл бұрын
DaedalusZero true, my na8 was a daily. it did save my life when someone cut me on an intersection turning left when I was going straight and they were the 1521 not ax6 keep forgetting I switched them before 949 shipped them to me. keep the videos coming. oh and the guy asking about wheel well I believe he is talking about thesmokingtire channel.

Hello.. just wanted to know where do you normally buy your parts? Local auto parts store or do you buy them online?.. I'm looking to buy brakes..spark plugs..rotors..air filter and oil.. I'm just a basic driver bone stock mazda 2.. just wanted to know which is a better route for me.. thanks anything will help
@HiroshimaSpirit7 жыл бұрын
+Manuel Rentas It depends on what the parts are. If it’s something regular like spark plugs or oil, you can get them over the counter at any parts store. If it’s a specialty or high performance part, it’s an online purchase. If you’re just daily driving and need to replace wear items, do your research and find the best parts you can for the lowest price. A good place to shop for OEM replacement parts at decent prices is rockauto.com. That’s where I typically buy replacement stuff from. 👍🏻
