Mazda6 2.3 Throws a Rod (Dashcam)

My mazda6 motor blew while I was driving on the highway talking to the auto wreckers on the phone. Threw a connecting rod on #1 cylinder.

My avenger had 2 holes #2 and 3 it sounded like a Harley and shook like mad but still made it several miles till it locked up lol. I later changed it with a junkyard motor.

​​@@datsunz152I'm surprised he didn't make it, i had a dodge avenger once that threw both inner rods "inline 4" it sounded like a harley and barly got out of 2nd but it kept going for several miles till the oil was gone then it locked up.i later changed it with a motor from a junkyard.

Hes taking it to scrap. Im surprised he didnt make it, I had 2 rods blow out on my avenger and i made it home several miles away. it sounded like a harley and was locking up just as i got it back from no oil. I later changed it with a junk yard motor.
