How much psi of boost? I have a speed 3 tuned by PD cst6 turbo at 38psi but I never put on the dyno?

Which platform do you prefer the ms3 or the ms6 ?

I like them both for different reasons. The 3 is more of a fun sporty very enjoyable car. The 6 is just really fun and easy to drive. You don’t have the traction issues when accelerating hard and it rides nice. If the 3 was awd it would be no contest.

Probably not good. It don’t start pulling real hard until about 90 in 4th

@@Bigtwineater So what RPM do you need to shift at during a hard pull? I'm trying to gauge the benefits of such a setup. My car does 80-110mph (120-180kmph) if around 4.5s in 5th and 60-100 in 3.62s in 4th with the current turbo, if I move to a CST6 will this get any better or will be just a dyno queen?

@@mituc I shift at 7500. Not sure what turbo you’re running or what you want your car to do so it’s hard to say If you would benefit from this turbo. Are you measuring your times with a dragy ? If you’re running a smaller turbo then the cst6 will probably make more power but it will shift the curve more to the top end rpm. However it really depends on the turbo you’re using. This is a simple bolt on build. I’ll take it out and get some times with my dragy when I can. It’s not a dyno Queen. Lol. I daily drive the car at least 70-80 miles a day.

@@Bigtwineater I just pull the speed from the OBD logs, because it kind of matches the GPS speed. The turbo I run is just a tad smaller, gen2 GTX3071, I guess the CST6 is in the 3076 league.

@@mituc if I had to guess I would say the 3071 is a more fun everyday turbo. The CS cst4 is probably the most fun turbo I’ve had for everyday driving. It’s exciting almost everywhere in the rpm range. I have 5 mazdaspeeds so I’m building each one a little different. Are you running pi?
