I remember watching a game in which the Sox had to plat without a DH because Ralph Houk sent up a pergame lineup card with TWO designated hitters 🙄

I feel bad that poor Dick McPherson gets lobbed in with Rod Rust. By the time Dick left, that team had at least moved beyond complete embarrassment. They were not good, but they were no longer making appearances on 60 Minutes. McPherson took over, not only the worst team in Patriot history, but one of the worst in NFL history. When he left they were just not good. That last Dick McPherson team is outside of the quarterback no worse than last year's team. That 1990-1991 team deserves a tier of its own.

Obviously Mazz didn't watch the Bruins in the 90s...1992 to 1999 were awful Bruins teams.
