In similie example i am as busy as bee And in hyperbole example He walks as slowly as turtle Both seems to be exaggerating so how to differentiate between similie and hyperbole

As busy as a bee can be possible, one can be occupied for 18 hours a day or for the entire day for that matter. That's simile. While as slow as turtle is exaggeration, you can't possibly walk that slow.

In simile two uncommon things are compared ..he was as slowly as turtle ( they both are common ) where as life is like a box of chocolate ( how life is related to chocolate ) its a uncommon thing
