Absolutely wonderful!! I was never raised on this show but my friend said it was incel humor and now that the McElroy’s have expressed their similar disdain, I know I must avoid it at all costs. Thank you for this info and this lovely art style!

It's baaaaad. It's super gross and sexist but also genuinely just not funny. Like the show's "jokes" don't even register as jokes to me, they're just weird awkward sentences set to a laugh track

I mean its not that bad. As in no its not incel humor I mean sure it has the standard amount of sexism for generic sitcoms of the time period. You know oh pretty girl stupid, obsession with virginity etc etc. Tho it gets kinda better on that front after the first few seasons Big bangs theory's biggest problem and the reason people don't like it is it seems to a) loathe all of its protagonists, and "nerd humour" in general b) some of the jokes are literally a string of references that go absolutely nowhere And im speaking as a guy who liked the show when i watched it years ago here 😅
