As an armed security guard, our job depends on keeping the secret that our guns really only shoot condiments

I love how they have this entire conversation without once acknowledging the existence of security cameras. Like... that’s 90% of loss prevention for big chain stores like Walmart and Target. “Let them go, we have them on camera.” Then some bored-ass cop tracks you down.

depends on the store. when i worked at Toys R Us up until it closed, only 2 of the security cameras in the store were actually operative. the others were decoys lmfao.

Monster Fox shoplifting became legal after the release of this podcast

I'm going to go into every video of people being caught and stopped when they tried shop lifting and go "thanks Griffin" in every comment section that isn't closed. Edit: Okay so there's a lot, so two. Two videos I'll do this for.

As someone who works at target and who watched our TPS (targets code for asset protection) officer grab a guy trying to walk out with 2 TVs and throw him on the ground while another person pepper sprayed him (the thief started throwing punches), I can assure you that they can in fact touch you

I take offense to Travis's profiling. I checked out a lot of refridgirators as a kid to see in which ones I'd fit. Sometimes I would even get in one to see how comfy it would be. Gotta say, disappointed in you Travis... Very dissapointed.

as much as i hate to say it, juice and griffin are super wrong. 1. security cameras 2. any employee can follow you to your car, look at your license plate, and call the cops 3. citizens arrest: US Laws state it can be performed by any citizen including “a store employee or cashier” and that they are allowed to use “reasonable force as is necessary to contain the individual and prevent escape.”

Ive worked in a lot places that taught about theft. No one monitors the cameras - if an employee catches you they write down time and area to get evidence. They CANT follow you out out of safety of the employee. Of you citizens arrest (which employees w get fired for doing btw) you best hqve 10000% evidence cuz the person you accuse w send you straight to court if you fuck up
