Canyon Neuron:ONFly Review | Compromised To Undercut The Competition?

The news feeds have been full of new lightweight e-bike launches recently, and we've been guilty of getting carried along by the hype, losing sight of the fact that many of these models are demanding serious coin.
So when Canyon introduced the Neuron:ONFly CF7 recently, with a Carbon frame, Bosch SX motor, and sub-£5k price tag, we knew we had to swing a leg over it and see whether it was a bargain bullet or a flawed failure.
We also snagged a high priced CF9 model with which to compare and contrast, riding the same trails. So does the Neuron:ONFly represent a welcome lowering of the threshold into the lightweight market, or do you still need to spend over £5k to get a true minimalist experience? The reality is you’ll find it pretty much impossible to find a carbon mountain bike for £2.3k, let alone one with a motor and battery.

I cant understand Canyon naming. This exact bike was advertised by Lebron James. Why on earth is the Strive:ON naming not used here ? Lebron Slogan: Strive for Greatness.

Strive:On is longer travel and an Enduro bike. Spectral is the aggressive trail bike family, Neuron is shorter travel and a little more XC in bias. But yeah, adding the Fly suffix seems pretty clumsy
