I'm pretty sure the point is that Cimo was carried by dm staples last season so Gage getting to use them this time is payback but when Cimo uses them it's just a repeat of last season.

At 37:18 when Cimo says he doesn't quite have lethal, he actually does have it if he normal summons the kalut. 1400+1300+1700=4400 leaving gage with 1900. MP2 dark strike fighter sac kalut for 600 and itself for 1400

I think they are intentionally avoiding overusing scientist or something because scientist+last will should literally always be in the main. Not sure why cimo would stop playing it otherwise because last will was nothing but amazing every time he had it

Joseph says Miracle Locus is the worst thing he's ever read. I put it to you that it is a functional battle trick that lets you either block an attack, or take out two tough monsters. This same set has Bone Temple Block, Overdoom Line and Level Retuner. Miracle Locus isn't even in the bottom three TRAPS in Raging Battle.

Issue is black world wind and Icarus are so much better then anything else at this time in Yu-Gi-Oh. Plus all the black wing cards at 3. Gage needs to throw and just ban black world wind or kalute.

Nobleman of Extermination doesn’t destroy the card if it flips up, so Cimo probably didn’t think it was good enough. As for why he’s playing it today, it was likely for Icarus Attack.
