MBTA 'the T' - CRRC 1900-series Red Line trains + More at Various Locations

The MBTA is slowly accepting new deliveries of the new CRRC 1400-series Orange Line and 1900-series Red Line cars. In this video we have both of the old and new Red Line cars serving station stops at JFK/U-Mass, Andrew, and Porter. Note how there is a special station announcement announcing when the next approaching train is one of the new ones.
The new cars are being built at a CRRC manufacturing plant in Springfield, MA. This is the same company that is building CTA's new 7000 series 'L' cars in the Hegewisch neighborhood of Chicago's far south side.

The new mbta trains are constantly breaking down and havent been put to full service. Most of the new trains are sitting in a train yard somewhere collecting dust.

Yeah they refurbished some of them a couple years ago but since the type 10 is coming soon it's not worth the refurbishing so when the type 10 is in service they are putting the caf type 9 in the ashmont-mattapan routes 😁😁

And now it's all being shut down, a train recently caught on fire and a few red line trains lol... got loose. Our subway system sucks balls.

Wow. I grew up in Boston and now live in New York. The trains never been that bad before. Poor management and maintenance I guess
