A niche otk line you can do if you have kragen on a clear field and R4NK access is make crooked cook. Attack with kragen for 1900, then use crooked cook to pop kragen and gain 300 atk. Kragen floats into two spawns and you attack with the remaining three for 8300

You can also play the mud dragon fusion thats a water and stops your opponent from targeting waters, vespanado allows you to main deck xyz remora for even further extension, also I play 1 lifeless leaffish instead of a third sea nettle because its a fish and shuffles 3 then draws one so it can be better in grind situations.

For those of you who have not done a lot of play testing w this, when you only play 4 total fish targets in deck (unless you target another water w buzzsaw) you find yourself banishing those targets w desires, completely killing the grind game. Really fun deck though

something to note that you can do in kragen turbo is that when you summon the other kragens, you can attach toadally awesome to them, so when they die, you recover back more cards. The loops is ridiculous for that reason alone, but as you've seen, it won't always come up.

Honestly unless you specifically open Gozen Match, Bahamut Toad is a better end board than Kragen pass. Atleast Toad can force 2 interuptions and add back Buzzsaw from grave for follow up.

I did a fun sealed season with a variant of this deck that used penguin squire and knightmare penguin to occasionally go into adamancipator risen dragite because it was big and easier to get than utopic draco future. Full Armor Crystal Zero Lancer was also funny

I think the fish deck is much better than MBT gave it credit for. I mean flipping Dim. Barrier 3x is just not a good reference. Because one could see the possible game steal after the first d-barrier. You played through it and even rivaled the 2nd. Protos was much more oppressive. It just said, hey, no more water mons. But with new Water support, this deck is up there in short time.

Left Hand Shark is not being played. XYZ remora is bad because you'd need an XYZ on the field already to use it making it just a greedy play for a deck that already has a low ceiling. Lantern Shark is just another normal summon asking to lose to interruption. A 3rd spawn will not come up as any other slot in this deck and the ED is incredibly tight specially if you're running Ready/Instant Fusion

@@rime3589 I agree with the first part of what they said, yeah the cieling is low because Joseph is holding himself back, yeah Lantern is interruptible but so is Buzzsaw as well. I would say you can get away with running 1 or 2 Lantern Sharks and cutting back on the torrentials, since I don't see many other people running torrential, maybe side in a copy or two of whitefish salvage so you can have a consistent resource loop. However nobody in their right mind is playing 3 Kragen Spawns. 2 Stealth Kragens and 2 Spawns is the right ratio, because if you only have spawns on the field, and your stealth kragen is in the grave, then the spawns are as good as dead, so having the second Stealth Kragen to make everything water comes up a lot. Number 80 can be swapped for something like Hope Woven or a generic toolbox monster but yeah BlueEagle doesn't know what he's talking about aside from the first setence, maybe play 1 or 2 Xyz Remoras.
