Did ya know that Coelacanths are real? They live in the Indic Ocean and are considered Lazarus Taxa, i.e. living fossils, because they are primitive and first thought exinct since a bit before the end of the Cretaceous. Also, they are more related to us than to the other fishes

Fish Synchro was a very strong deck back in 2010-2011 era, so much so people were calling for the head of Coelacanth but thankfully they hit the actual problem card "Fishborg Blaster" which to this day is still banned fortunately.

Personally, I like using it with an Umi setup utilizing Electric Jellyfish as an all round special summoner w/ a built in negate, Karyu-shin as a search w/ a Gozen Match-esque board control, Sea Stealth 2 for protection and difficult to interact temp spec summons, and Legendary Ocean to set levels.
