After seeing vanquish viking and assistant the deck is looking cleaner, especially since you can cycle through the amazement traps that are banished or in the GY with the field spell (which in turn puts banished traps back in the GY to make the boss's not HOPT pop live longer). Not gonna lie though, viking is probably gonna carry the entire team on its back with the ability to spin negates back to the hand (i.e. extra deck) and eat between half and 3/4 of their usability by itself.

The Drytron matchup I doubt can qualify under meta. He doesn't even look to be playing Benten which is the only reason that deck is even considered meta.

Yeah this was a less meta pure build... but tbh pure is still better than turn skip, which is a gimmick that's good for about a turn before your opponent wipes the floor with you turn 4

@@benpeterson4673 no Benten that we *saw* - it's possible it was in the list but somehow they never accessed it. But yes, Benten abuse is pretty much crucial to the success of any good Drytron build

Frankly, I'm not a good deck builder, so I've been playing bad builds, but the one thing that I always did was find Benten as soon as possible. If I've gotta use Alpha to get it, then so be it, but it's the first priority to find, no matter what. If they were playing it and chose to search the drytron rituals instead...they're either really new to the deck or just not playing it.

The anime boi is supposed to be pronounced with an A, not a V. Arlecchino is Italian for Harlequin. The upside down A is actually pretty clever, and not just quirky randomness, since it is the symbol for the universal quantifier in predicate logic. For those of you who suffered less than me this last semester, it means "for all", which is fitting for an amusement park. I only somewhat look forward to if they ever end up using the backwards capital E that means "there exists".

It seems like you're already playing whatever traptrix deck you want to be playing, but MBT made this deck with however much exp. he has in deck building and time he had to experiment with the new cards. Why are you angry? If the optimized list ends up being one that play fewer traptrix cards, then that will just be an indication on the competitive viability of the cards.
