Someone probably should have told MBT he was playing a go second deck. The 6th card was often a big difference maker in how you craft your play. Consistently grabbing Ruby into the spell trap zone also doesn't do any good without other crystals to bring up. In the early game it's better to have multiple Pegasus in play to get into Bagooska. Bummer to see a fav deck do so poorly.

Neither of these are even said archetypes honestly. The crystal beast beast deck is just a shit mech knight list, even pre-structure it’s bad honestly. The cydra list is just weird honestly if the goal is to end on infinity with trap control I get that but I feel like a more going second list would of not just more fun to watch and build.

@rajkanishu While I totally get that, is that not more reason to play the only older support cards? Cyber has a lot of bleh support truthfully, but there is interesting stuff to build around at least. For some examples, cyber network would have been fine fine in this slower setup. For the monster lineup, you had stuff like proto, drei, and Eltanin he could have put in there. Then there was the old implementation, maybe the Laser dragon set up as well for going second. For crystal beast, I feel like a rank 3 and 4 turbo be better than mekk knights mentioning crystal beast. I also felt that would somehow be more consistent than whatever deck list that was. My point is that's it's supposed to be jank so why would just embrace it and build on the archetype and not great support. That is just how feel, tho.

Some lists need to be inevitably changed because "Master Duel bad" as it doesn't have all cards craftable, but nonetheless are kept close to original for "history" purposes. With that in mind, it is impossible to find actual archetype focused toppings lists since they are really bad even for their time lol.
