So way back in the day I remember building a Mushroom Man #2 deck relying on stall and Vengeful Servant and Unstable Evolution equipped to #2. Not sure if it was proper but Unstable Evolution specifically says it changes the Original ATK so Vengeful Servant meant each time Mushroom man swapped control he'd do 2400 or 1000 damage + his 300 at end phase.

I mean... if there is no special ruling, shouldn't the normal ruling just take place? Blackwing Armor Master is immune to all card effects - so Last Turn should *not* send it to the GY. All other cards are send, then Cimoo summons a Monster. Then a special battle phase starts in which the special summoned monster fights Avatar of the Pot. Regardless of the outcome, Armor Master just kills MBT in the actual battle phase (since Last Turn doesn't stop the turn, it just inserts a special battle phase) and the game ends before Last Turns endphase winconcheck applies. (Last Turn ends the game in the end phase, meaning if you manage to win before that, you still win. Any burn damage or additional damage in the battle phase can do that, albeit rarely necessary)

Has since been overruled. You win with Last Turn even if you end with 6 Monsters on your field. Additionally, Last Turn does *not* skip to your end phase. If Cimooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo didn't summon a monster, he could've just entered battle phase with Dark Armor Master anyway and killed MBT through normal battle. LT damage negation only affects that one battle between special summoned Monsters and it doesn't grant any protection from getting killed later that turn, since usually the effect already makes winning through any other way impossible.

I'm pretty sure that if Armed Wing had stayed on the field the game would have ended in a DRAW. Last Turn states: "After [sending all cards to the graveyard], your opponent selects and Special Summons 1 monster from their Deck in face-up Attack Position and attacks your selected monster. (Any Battle Damage from this battle is treated as 0.) The player whose monster remains alone on the field at the End Phase of this turn wins the Duel. Any other case results in a DRAW." Meaning that if, somehow, one of the player ends with TWO monsters on the field at the End Phase, it defaults to a DRAW instead of a victory!

This trap card will send any(fusion, synchro, xyz) monster unaffected by card effects to the GY. The reason is because because it makes the player send those cards instead of the card itself. The (ole English) wording on "Last Turn" states that you are the one doing it, but I'm not a judge so whatever ruling sticks.

Last Turn most definitely does not stop Blackwing Full Armor Master. Evenly Matched is a bad analogy because Evenly Matched relies upon game mechanics which have priority over card effects. Evenly Matched MAKES YOUR OPPONENT banish cards face-down until they control the same number. It's a game mechanic forcing the player to do something and has nothing to do with the card itself. The same is true for Kaijus; it's making use of a game mechanic; namely tributing a monster, rather than relying on its effect text. Last Turn just says send all other cards on the field and in their respective owners' hands to their respective Graveyards. That is just effect text. In fact, it's just Chaos Emperor Dragon's effect which absolutely does not work on BFAM on the field. I honestly think Last Turn gets misunderstood. The biggest problem is that virtually everyone just assumes that the card's effect text happens simultaneously when it doesn't. The effect goes line by line, and you do what the text says IF you can do it. If you can't, then you don't. 1) Activate only on your opponent's turn, when your life points are under 1000, and when you have a monster on the field to select. 2) Send all other cards on the field and in their respective owners' hands to their respective Graveyards. 3) After that, opponent selects from his/her deck a monster and Special Summons it in face-up attack position and attacks it. (Note that this has nothing to do with the battle phase. This is a special battle phase that only applies to these particular monsters. This card can be activated in the draw, standby, main phase 1, or main phase 2.) 4) The player whose monster remains alone on the field at the End Phase of this turn wins the duel. Any other result is a draw. (Note that it says "whose monster." It doesn't say "The player with A monster on the field at the End Phase of this turn." It specifically refers to the monster Special Summoned by the effect of Last Turn. Note that this is my interpretation of the card, and others just interpret the card as referring to any monster that happens to be on the field. This is crucial to distinguish as it changes many of the side cases that players might encounter in a Last Turn game. Let's go through some examples of what can occur from Last Turn: If both players select Spirit Reaper, and the turn proceeds to the End Phase, then it's a draw because there is no one "player whose monster remains alone on the field at the End Phase." If Threatening Roar is activated in response to Last Turn, Threatening Roar resolves first, the text of Last Turn then resolves, but no special Battle Phase occurs because the turn player cannot declare an attack that turn. This very likely means that the duel will result in a draw because both selected monsters are still remaining on the field and the victory condition is not met. The only way I can think of where this doesn't result in a draw is some bizarre situation like the player who activated Last Turn had a spirit monster on the field with Spiritual Energy Settle Machine on the field. Since Last Turn would destroy Spiritual Energy Settle Machine, all spirit monsters would be returned to the hand and therefore there would be a monster selected by Last Turn alone on the field at the End Phase. If a player activates Last Turn and their opponent chains Offerings to the Doomed, the selected monster would be destroyed. This would prevent the special Battle Phase from occurring since the player that activated Last Turn has no monster for the Special Summoned monster to attack. Remember that all battle damage is 0 in the special Battle Phase. However, this is not a draw, likely for two reasons. First and most obviously, since there is a monster selected by Last Turn's effect remaining on the field during the End Phase, the turn player would win. Secondly and more importantly, as stated before, the special Battle Phase does not interfere with the turn player's turn in any way. They can still perform their Main Phase, (they get DMOC, DMOC's effect activates, and they add Pot of Greed from their Graveyard.) Battle Phase, and Main Phase 2 before going to the End Phase and have the victory check apply. Remember that the player who activated Last Turn must activate it on their opponent's turn, and they must have 1000 life points of less. If the turn player chained Offerings to the Doomed and destroyed their monster, they can still go into their normal Battle Phase, attack with their monster they Special Summoned by Last Turn's effect and win by reducing their opponent's life points to 0. If the turn player wants to secure a draw, they can just select Twin-Headed Behemoth and Special Summon it by Last Turn's effect. Even if the monster is destroyed during the special Battle Phase, at End Phase, since they are turn player, they have priority to resolve effects, and in what order. So they can simply activate Twin-Headed Behemoth's effect to Special Summon it back to the field, then the victory check is applied, and since both monsters are still on the field, it is a draw. I actually love Last Turn because it results in truly ridiculous and interesting situations that require you to know the mechanics of the game and how to apply some logic. I honestly don't think the card is nearly as difficult to understand as people make it out to be. It's a complex card to be sure, but it's manageable when you break it down line by line.

I assume that would translate to "If you do" in psct, so the battle would not be able to happen this resulting in "any other case". Old cards were kind of like poetry, they were open to interpretation...

i really want konami to release a psct version of last turn. it would never be unbanned but it would be a cool collectors thing. doing problem solving card text data base would be helpful for cards which have not been reprinted so that the don't need to be

My ruling on last turn: Full Armor stays on field because unlike Evenly, Evenly makes your opponent remove the cards off the field. Last Turn itself sends. The only problem arrises after you special summon your monster. The card text reads: SS your monster AND declare an attack on your opponents monster. There’s two ways to interpret this. Because there’s an “AND” than that means it’s all a single action and you must attack with the SS monster. Or because Last Turn doesn’t specify which monster to attack with than if you so happen to have another monster on the field than you can attack with either one.

44:26 So what I think what happens is Blackwing stays gains its counter because it is "unaffected by other cards' effects", and Cimooo will most likely win the fight destroyin the monster. BUT in Last Turn: "The player whose monster remains ***alone*** on the field at the End Phase of this turn wins the Duel. Any other case results in a DRAW." So because his selected card is not alone, there are multiple monsters on the field because of Blackwing ends in a draw; because "Any other case results in a DRAW." If Cimooo clashes that leaves Blackwing, but *not the selected monster/target* for the trap effect on the field again meaning a sudo no cards on the field ending in a draw. If Cimooo loses the fight on purpose, but because Avatar of the Pot is ***not alone*** on field due to Blackwing, ends in a Draw. I don't think anyone was ever supposed to win.

I'd honestly agree with coder saying last turn works like Evenly Matched. The card specifies YOU to choose a monster, then remove the others from the field, so the removal isn't Last Turns effect, you remove your own cards because last turn resolved, so even unaffected monsters are vulnerable.
