@@metalmariomegatrue especially with Runic since in pure Runick the answer was to commit nothing to the board to deny them targets for their spells. But the Synchro variant will just FTK you. I was an early innovator of this incorporating ecclesia for a floating tuner/discard fodder but todays variants using the duality package are incredibly efficient at switch gears to agro.

I'm legit playing Pharaonic Advent in the side of Mikanko Snake-eye. All of your combos converge on Herald of the Arc Light which can search Illusion of Chaos for Magicians' Souls. Souls can send Advent, Selene revives it, and then you finish up your snake-eye plays and tribute the fiend-type Promethean Princess to search your floodgate of choice.

It's a snake-eye deck that uses mikankos as additional extenders/board breakers and to set up herald of the arc light + mikanko rivalry for angelic ring to negate stuff. Power Tool Braver Dragon and Herald for Souls for Diabellstar bridge everything together. The only level 6 in the deck is Ohime and the extra deck is ridiculously tight so there's not really any viable Beatrice line if that's what you're getting at.

This would be perfect for a short YGO OVA; the villain has our protagonist against the ropes, so they start to gloat and show off, getting rid of all their own monsters and announcing that the only thing left for the protagonist to do is wwaiting for a slow, painful deckout. But then the music swells as the last remainig card in the deck is revealed to be monster reborn.
