I was the Poker Knight player. I'm happy that despite making like 5 misplays, I still managed to tie it altogether in the end. Just to explain the actual thought process here, The idea of using Kutsunagi on the opponents turn is to use Apollosa & Utopia Double/Pleiades to disrupt the opponent, and then use the endphase effect of Kutsunagi to fiber jar your opponents resources. Your main resource loop ends with all your cards going back in hand, and all your knights that end up banished or in grave are back in deck to be used again. So you can do the Isolde/Utopia combo again and build up more resources, or just kill them next turn. I probably could have showed that off if I wasn't an idiot and put up a Pleiades with the Apo, but hey, I got to do the thing, and that's what matters most.

@@thegreatestblood Well now that Isoldes gone it's pretty much Joever. The fact that you can search the one of by just doing your main combo line is what made it work in my eyes. Now the deck doesn't have a consistent/good way to search for it.

Honestly, I feel like any kind of going second deck (without Handtraps) is the way to go for this series. Gives the opponent a chance to make you laugh at the setup while still offering up a (hopefully) fun and competitive duel if that’s the win on the opponent chooses to go for.

The cup of aces remind me of a very old yugioh, probably one of the first automated online yugioh games, on BYOND which had tag duel modes that allowed you to switch your targets on the fly. You were able to target your own partner for card effects so people would target their partner and set cyber jar so when the opponent flipped it you and your partner drew 5 and summoned a bunch of vanilla beaters. Would have been funny to have cup of ace in that game.

Inferno-Tempest & Metaphys? Awwww yeah, WE BALLIN'! I tried to do that in Duel Links, but it's not really reliable when you start with 4000 LP and barely any deck even can hit 3000 ATK. Honestly, the most reliable opponent for that is Blue-Eyes, but even that doesn't work every time.
