Took the ZR2 up McAllister Gulch. The trail gets pretty steep in some sections but there are not any significant obstacles along the route. I would call it a moderate route with some steep inclines. Black Bear and Red Cone are more difficult to give you some perspective. Also, the Wearyman Creek portion of this trail is closed and has been for 3 years now. Its unfortunate because its probably the coolest part of this trail. Call the local forest service to complain about it. Even though that part is closed you can still make a full loop and don't have to turn around. There are parts of the pass that get pretty tight so expect your vehicle to get scratched by branches.
