That was the most balance skills for skills first game in a long time. Dallas sure showed up prepare and it could've went either way. The first one is always the funky one. they have been mesure and tested now both teams have to go back to the board and revaluate plays. Thats why the first 2 were brutal and look kind of slow on both side. Pass intercepted and players not being in proper position due to the adjustment. Its gonna be different on the next one and its gonna be the real test. People forget that Peter DeBoer along side Steve Spott were the kings of Play adjustment during the San Jose Sharks 15-16 which they reach the finals for the very first time but lost the cup to Pittsburgh.

I think Vin Desharnais is a good defenseman ..BUT there are two or three things he needs to improve ...1. use his size to HIT and HIT HARD the opposition along the boards 2..PLAY WITH TWO HANDS on his stick and 3. Head on a swivel to see who is a threat in his defense zone ...you can not turn your back an an opponent and expect to win games...Come on Vinny..I love your play 90% of the time...please bump it up to 99 or 100.

As a stars fan, I’m not worried. They have lost the first games in each of their first two series and it didn’t mean shit. Honestly, the Oilers going into OT with Dallas and keeping a tight game is playing into Dallas’s game. If the Oilers were in full control here it would have been a rope a dope game from the start and won it by 3 o 4. Losing games in the playoffs is part of the whole thing.
