I've been making this exact burger as a customised QP for some time now since they no.longer do a McFeast. This is about as close as it gets to one. It's actually slightly cheaper having them package it like this which is good. And at my local Macas it's only $8.15 for the burger so not sure why you Qlders are getting charged more

greg you're not wrong with the needs more salt, i work at maccas and i can tell you for the quarter pounders alot of the time theres no seasoning put on it (salt&pepper)

Those quarter pounders look like they've shrunk too. Big Macs these days feel the size of the son of macs they had. Meat patties as thin as two slices of cheese and fit well within the size of the palm of your hand. Lucky to be the equivalent of two 50 cent coins in width. I'm going to order my next big mac with just meat patties and buns, then weigh both meat patties to see how little we now get.

@@alycat1116 I ordered the bog mac with just patties. One patty weighed 30 grams, the other weighed 29 grams. So 59 grams of beef in total (2.081 ounces in US terms) They measured 75mm (3 inches) by 70mm. 59 grams of beef works out to be 17 big macs per kg. Considering their beef must cost them $6/kg (bulk buy), that's $0.35c of beef per burger. These patties were larger than I had received in previous visits, so I'd hate to see exactly how small the others were.
