I stealth camped behind a #McDonalds drive through last night! I have been looking for a camping spot like this for years. I wanted to do a drive-thru but for some reason (probably safety) they seem to always be clear around with no hiding spots. After years of searching and looking at every Google satellite view, I could find I found my dream McDonalds #camping spot.

I think your concern at the end is unwarranted, whether your videos are late, or your videos are "boring" (they're never boring), or even if they're just videos of you silently reading, we'd still be here waiting to watch and share in the adventures with you. You're the big grown-up kid we all want to be, just out there enjoying the simple things and creating an infectious environment of kindness and connection in your comments section / community following. Your videos have gotten me through some really dark times in my life, so I'm grateful even just to see you at all. Keep on Camping, so we can be With Steve!

@@dakotaellis9978 Absolutely, I don't even see it as a full fledged camping channel, it's more like a way for us to hang out with Steve every week - It just so happens we hang out at campsites (Or sometimes in shrubs and bushes, wrapped in trashbags, during a thunderstorm). Between him and his English equivalent Kent Survival, it's just endlessly peaceful. genuinely feels like you're just off with your friend - I just wish the videos were longer. I'd happily sit and watch a 30-40 minute video here. Also it would be awesome to see Steve and KS do a collab, but I do fear the serenity may achieve ultimate enlightenment and Steve will transcend us all.

I will admit that it was hard for me to feel happy about the trees I've painted with Bob Ross. lol Over time, I realized that I actually did paint something better than I normally would have because I had learned from Bob Ross, plus I have the excuse of trying to paint with acrylics instead of the oils he uses. It's very much like your channel, Steve, in that many of us do something similar because we've been inspired by you, but none of us come out with exactly the same thing in the end. Sometimes Steve's stealth camp spots feel viable for homeless living (not that anyone should ever be homeless) and this spot really feels like a good spot for that. I like to see spots where people would feel safe but could potentially get to spaces to clean themselves up/work(?), etc. To anyone who is homeless (as some have phones, KZbin, etc.). I hope you're doing okay as we move into Autumn, and find safe places to sleep, and food, and the help you need. I wish things were better. I was homeless for four years. This is a bad spot for sustained use. One night is fine but you're going to get seen going to or from the spot since it's right through a high traffic area. Plus, it's a McDonald's. You don't want to be next to establishments frequented by the poor because there's more suspicion about the homeless.

Steve camping gear is bright colors for emergency situations. Hi vis colors are easy to spot in search and rescue scenarios. If your looking for “stealth” earth tones you need to move from the camping section to the hunting section. Love you video’s really great to see you so happy, keep on trucking Steve!

Hey Steve. Saw a little SunnyV2 video about you. I'll start off by saying that this is some quality content. I've just finished binging a few of your stealth camping videos, and they are very muxh entertaining. About your troubles, I think I can relate to them. I lost my daughter a few years back and thought I would never recover from my grief and sadness. My wife was quite distant from me and my son afterwards, and even I was struggling to preperly take care of my son. That's when I started hitting bars. I had long nights where I would drink and drink, and it eventually made me an alcohol addict. I couldn't live without it. However, I took some advice from my dear friend Dave and quit drinking a year ago. I am one year sober now and have reconnected with my kin, family, and parents. I'm rooting for you, and know that all of us are, and you aren't going through your hard times alone! ❤

Hey Steve (and team), funny you mentioned the crazy colors of outdoors gear (again), I have a hammock that is dayglow green like all laborer's wear. I speculated it would be very handy if one got lost in the wilderness to be spotted by air. Also, funny this time you mentioned how they spell thru instead of through; my dad's dad had a butcher shop in a small town in Utah and his business name was intentionally misspelled for the whimsy, as you mentioned. He had it panted on a mural on the side of the shop and the schoolteachers petitioned to force him to spell it right or take it down because it was mis-educating young children.

I have been watching since the Boondocking days. I have often wondered if there is any environment you have found that you cannot sleep in. From culverts to caves to under busy bridges you seem to at least get some rest. As always, thanks for bringing us along!
