Mcdoubles back again with a brand new video and today we hop back on our gunslinger from the last video to create an Arcane Gunslinger using the LRE and some fun arcane-based epics to mix Arcane Mage and Marksman Hunter into one cohesive playstyle!
In this video we take our new upgrades from the last video, including an awesome new 5 barreled gun, and finally come around to making our own Arcane Gunslinger spec on Project Ascension. The goal is to make progress by acquiring new pieces of gear and to test this spec in max level content to see what its made of!

In the future McDoublez, there are Specialty Ammo Vendors on both the Aldor and Scryer tiers that sell ammunition from the different reps in Burning Crusade, including from the Violet Eye. Itll save you a trip in the future.

If you’re still looking for Hunter-esque builds, the newly buffed/soft reworked Locust Ranger has been a lot of fun. It has baked in aoe now and it gets more benefits on every locust shot now. Only hard part is getting Locust Swarm and Chimera Shot

I think you should give Melee Hunter a try! One of my friends pioneered the main build for it, and they have a lot of fun and get insane damage out of it. It's basically solely ST damage, but you could always go the other route with the Fire Watch build.

I played this ever so slightly in S6. I think I got recommended to use the balance druid spell crit talent for it's uptime and dmg, but might be wrong about that. Might be worth checking it out ^^

Always enjoy the vids, never played Ascension before so I started on the Area 52 realm but finally rerolled on to Alar today and it seems a lot more alive, got a fully geared mythic healer on 52 and its like pulling teeth trying to even get into a M0 let alone a key. Any advice for how to prep a first char on a draft server? Yeetmaster if you ever happen to get into a random dungeon w/ me, just hit me with an xD. Love the content man

FYI, for TBC theres ammo vendors in your respected shat faction area. Itll include all rep arrows/bullets so you dont have to travel all the way to kara for the bullets. For aldor its straight across from the inn. I dont know where it would be for scryer

@mcdoubles I’m not sure if something is bugged with gunslinger but i feel like the scaling of it is. Also, turn off norg when doing dummy testing. I forget to do it sometimes and it can mislead true dps numbers. Hopefully we see a revisit of the gunslinger soon or other hunter builds? *cough cough compound is pumping

Maaan, I miss the old outlaw builds it’s long overdue my man!! Here lately it’s a lot of m+ which I mainly skip over but I do watch the leveling process of the builds. It’d be cool to see you actually going for all the big abilities everyone dreams of rolling rather than going the more pve ethical route. That or even as a challenge try and get on the arena ladder!!

I also have the Pink Elekk and I had no idea where I got it, but I think you get it by race changing a lot, ny theory is that some races have more mounts than the draenei so when changing into draenei one of the se mounts dont have a draenei version and thus Pink Elekk appears

I think Vengeance 5/5 is better then the Arcane mage version. It's actually pretty hard to go below 50% mana in raids and with Vengeance you always have a chance to get the dmg buff and mana regain. Yus i know the arcane mage version gets you more dmg.. But you need to be below 50% mana

Hi Mcdubbs, I would like you to try my 1 shot shockwave build its hillarious! It uses tools of war, shadowstep, serpent sting, collosus smash and obviously all the shockwave REs. Have gotten 12k aoe crits in PVP with it, so fun!

Heya McDoubles, I heard you're not really a fan of joining pugs with a GDKP loot system, would you be interested in joining a GDKP raid to experience them first hand and maybe reevaluate? I'm currently the main organizer for those on A'Lar and this could also be some quality content for your viewers.

I think the problem is you can just buy gold with DP, so anyone who spends the most money IRL will win GDKPs.

@@BattlestarHavoc Prices are very reasonable in our GDKP though, and gold is rather easy to farm on Ascension. Watching at our data you can pretty much fully gear up a caster from Heroic Kara / Gruul / Mag for about 1.5k - 2k gold, which takes about an hour to farm if you're doing high risk content.

Also our current content Heroic runs are mostly quite clean cause high end pumpers come to do smth with the gold instead of having it lay around, losing a BIS Item to some 3-4k DPS guy having more RNG than them. They just get annoyed by clearing a raid up to 5 weeks just to get their item. Of course there are black sheeps but we havent had a single incident of that yet. There are alot of mechanics making u alot of gold in very small time. If u really play the game and got the knowledge what to do u mostlikely wont be outbid by those people anyway.

Prices for anything but current content raids are as cheap as you can get so even casuals dont have to buy DP. Farming for like 30 mins or even AH flipping will generate alot more gold than someone having 25 bucks spare for the game. We encurage people to make money on other ways and even give them hints on what to do. Our goal is to run everything on most difficulties and make small coin for it instead of joining some hard-res pug that will take 4 hours while skipping smth like Maiden or Netherspite to clear kara cause nobody even knows about mechanics.
