Creating a WIND BESERKER! | League 4 | Project Ascension | Classless WoW | PvProgression, Mythic+

Mcdoubles back again with a brand new video and today I want to try the brand new Wind Berserker build draft and guys let me just say - it ends up being VERY good!
I take this guy to level 44 so that I can actually play the build utilizing all of its components after creating the spec and testing out the basic gameplay loop in Tanaris, and then we head into some BG leveling where we absolutely DOMINATE with the spec! It's actually bonkers broken once you get everything you need for it, and it was a lot of fun to play it in the 40-59 bracket.
After hitting max we redo the spec, grab some 2H weapons with Titan's Grip, and head into our mythic grind with the singular goal of at least completing a +10 in the video. I show you guys a few of the mythic dungeons I do, the talents and gear I acquire, and then we jump into our M+ grind with GREAT SUCCESS!

I like being able to catch the streams. I am glad that you enjoy the streams as well. I liked that your shaman video was a leveling stream and then max level content in a video after you have had a chance to really "min/max" the character. I am finding that the mix of videos is a bit more enjoyable, purely because I won't be able to catch every stream. A VOD channel might be a good idea versus your main channel. I would say, don't force yourself to stream by having a set schedule, but try to have a stream once or twice a week. Look through the architect to see the "enjoyable/OP" builds, and use those as stream content, the joy that I hear from you when you are dominating in PVP is awesome. I hope that this wasn't too overboard, I really do enjoy the content, so please just keep enjoying what you do!

Like I said in the last 3 streams dude. Definitely stream more or at least often. 1-3 times a week for a month or 2. Get the data of what the pay for you looks like and that should give you more of an understanding of what works and what doesn't. Setting up a time and day to stream would help too so everyone knows when it'll happen so we have the chance to make ourselves free to enjoy it. P.s in game name is Luffy ✌️

You mentioned a few times that you took a leap of faith with youtube initially. It worked for some time, but now it is not as steady financially. This may be the perfect time to try streaming, and it least see if it adds value to you personally and your financial needs. I was the one that started the whole journey of conversation about history when I asked the question "which civilization would you want to face the least" and I also brought up the conversation about fighting 5th graders. The reason I bring that up was because you responded to all my dumb question and gank threats, and I wasnt the only one you responded to. Hanging out in the stream was fun, especially with how much you engage with the audience. I know I wasn't the only one feeling that. I think because of who you are you can make it work, it was a tone of fun even during a fishing stream. I vote try it, at least for a bit, see where it goes, it can't hurt.

FYI for anyone that had same issue, for Build Draft you only need to select your roll from the NPC. (Tank,Healer,DPS) If you then don't see the build you want as a card choice, click the Leave Draft Builder button, goto Character Advancement (N) and Featured Builds. You can then select whatever build you want. You don't have to delete the character and try again. Took me several deletes to discover this. - Gunnie

It says on the build draft game mode, that if you do that, you won't get the rewards from doing a Build Draft that was chosen for you.

@@mihailnikolov5535 Huh,, I honestly didn't notice that detail but I can confirm 100% that you do get the rewards since the same character I referenced for my post, was selected with this method and I did get all rewards. Perhaps the detail is speaking to you changing your draft while leveling? As long as you do it the moment you spawn in it doesn't impact you. Select roll and then immediately go to Character Advancement and pick Draft.

Hit 60 last night. Switch up some things that the build draft had. pulling 4-5k single depending on fight and anywhere 6-12k aoe depending on pull. i still have alot of blues as well. Reminds me of the Barbarian Whirlwind build from Diablo

Check out Searing blades its a blast as well, same kinda feel but fire and ice with the shocks using storm strikes and Double down RE goin in for the SS is chonky dual wield smacks in pvp

You could look into streaming more consistently but also recording at the same time so you can still make the same quality videos but give people a more behind the scene's look of the recording for people who catch the streams and just edit the video like you normally would and do normal voice overs for certain segments and some live audio from the stream as you would already normally do while recording (easy way to do that is record a separate audio mic only track either in obs or record your mic in audacity, clap to spike the audio right as you start recording audio and steaming to make it easier to sync the voice only recording with no background stream music to the normal clips audio in editing and just delete the track with stream music that's attached to the stream video file) allows you to continue still making nearly identical if not exactly the same content as you do now but also getting to stream it and growing your audience in multiple ways on top of giving people additional ways to support you while streaming with things like super chats or additional channel members for stream chat emotes, kinda the best of both worlds of getting to continue streaming since your enjoying it and making the same quality videos simultaneously and getting to grow into a wider audience that prefers live content as well as existing subs getting to interact more with you, and you get more revenue streams from the same content.

also on top of this I'd recommend not leaving the streams public after the fact since it can hurt you being pushed in the algorithm on your normal videos with low watch time retention on stream vods, maybe start downloading them and make a separate youtube channel you promote once every few videos and in the description and have linked on your channels tab that has a catalog of all previous streams and once you get big enough pay someone to make a third clips channel for additional exposure in youtube shorts since shorts go nuts with views if you can get even 1 clip to hit the algorithm, might even be able to find people willing to do it for free with a contract that gives them a 30/70, 40/60 or 50/50 split of all earned revenue from the clips channel, It's a lot to figure out and get actually moving in motion but you could easily end the year with over 100k subs if you can diversify your content into high quality videos like you do now, streams, full length stream vods and clips but as individual channels that link back to this one giving you way more eyes on you for the same amount of content you already produce

the amount of time and money I would need to even consider doing everything you're saying is so far above what I currently make that it just doesn't sound logical or reasonable. People do this a lot, they give me the advise that would only work for someone who is in the absolute perfect situation, but they dont account for someone who barely makes enough money to pay his bills and is on a downward spiral of failure

@@Mcdoubles Yeah it's definitely not something just anyone can do and is a much more massive time investment for you if you chose to do it all yourself but there are a lot of people who will be willing to do the shorts stuff for you from scratch with a contracted revenue split from that channel for their work once you reach a certain size which is technically just passive income and advertising for you besides just occasionally recording small clips for them to put at the start/end of the shorts and the streaming thing would be practically the same thing you're already doing just more time investment doing both streaming and editing and no real monetary investment, have obs recording and streaming simultaneously and a 2nd external program recording your mic like audacity so you can effectively get more viewers on the same content and more avenues for people to support you by having a few hundred/thousand people watching it live on the stream then your normal viewer base watching it in video form later on, also I heard of a free ai tool I can't remember the name of it offhand but I'll edit this comment if I can find it that you can just directly put a youtube video into it then it spits out dozens of clips from that video with live captions auto generated (not always perfect but generally good enough for shorts) I think it was primarily meant for more podcast style content but your videos already have that kinda solo podcasty style to them sometimes just talking about random topics and all you'd have to do is just record a little intro for the shorts and outro linking back to a consistent streaming schedule or a video you just uploaded on a pinned comment to that short and eventually one will hit the algorithm and will grow that channel, you could also upload the shorts to your own channel to enhance the findability of your primary channel from the shorts but it's also annoying to some people getting spammed with shorts who are subbed to you and could hurt you more than it helps so minimizing that impact with a secondary channel is what I see most people doing, If you don't feel capable of doing it right now and it would cause you any kind of additional stress I wouldn't worry too much about it and just keep doing what you're already doing, but the more platforms and forms of content you put out the more potential eyes on you over time, something else you could look into doing is just making a facebook page that you reupload your content to that's 0 monetary investment and very little time investment and just have it link back to your yt channel.
