Great review as always. My favourite thing about some of McFarlane's "silver age" stuff is that those looks continue right into the modern age! For example the Riddler is the same Riddler that fights Bane during Knightfall ('93), this Joker has the same look in No Man's Land and recently the Penguin has that same look in a variety of 90's stuff (e.g. Ode to the Penguin, Detective stuff by Dixon)

I agree 100%, they may be silver age, but you can fit them into maybe not the most modern display but fairly modern like 90s

I gotta agree. I've got Arkham version, Clown + Comedian from 3 Jokers, Ledger Joker, but THIS is my ideal minds eye version. Finally! I'd love a Jack Nicholson version though to top it off and I'm all set.

Nice review. I have this one pre-ordered at BBTS. They label him a Silver-Age Joker, but technically he's the Bronze-Age version. In fact, the art on the box and trading card are by Jose Luis Garcia Lopez who is mostly associated with 70's and 80's (Bronze-Age) DC. So the Knightfall Batman would go nicely up against this Joker, as he is basically a classic Bronze-Age looking Batman. This figure is nice, but instead of yet another Joker I would rather get some other classic Bat-villains we don't have yet like Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Black Mask, Mad Hatter, Scarecrow, The Ventriloquist, etc. I was actually pretty satisfied with the Rebirth Joker, and the Comedian and Clown Joker are also nice classic looking Jokers. The Comedian being my favorite.

@@BilSande4 When they announced this figure I was looking up pictures of him from the silver and bronze age and there does seem to be alot of overlap, they could have just as easily called him bronze age Joker. I'm sure we will keep getting more classic villains

I think that, that other gripping hand is for a possible gun, there's a Batman cover, panel, or poster, where he's holding a giant gun, with the BANG! Flag sticking out, aswell as his pinky finger.

Just think of the different colored knees and elbows as just the weird patches that suits often have on the elbows….as for the knees the dude definitely needs a bit of padding considering the falls he takes lol

I skipped this one. Still not sold but I do like the infinite Frontier body. I think my definitive Joker in my collection is still the Clown Joker. Hopefully they keep improving moving forward to give us the true definitive Joker figure. I’m sure this won’t be the last joker we see from Mcfarlane lol
