From my understanding there is also an unmasked version of this figure out there somewhere as a variant. Same like the Justice League Tactical Batfleck figure which had three variants (masked with goggles, masked with goggles up, and unmasked). It may also have either different or more accessories. Just thought I would point that out. Nice review!

Finally got around to getting this figure today unfortunately my joints were loose as heck. It had me question the authenticity of the figure which checked out to be authentic. I've never received a McFarlane that was loose like this could very well be why GameStop doesn't sell this version anymore.

Not a fan of the figure overall, the mouth is too big, barely looks like rob(compare to the Batfleck masked figure), and I don't get why this line is obsessed with characters looking to the side. The Cowl looks good, won't lie, specially with those intricate stitches. The sculptwork on the body is pretty spot on, but the grapnel pouch on his thigh is missing, and the strap isn't painted. He should have a slightly leaner physique, he's as bulky as Batfleck (comparing the figures)No fist hands, odd choice, and the double joints look very ugly(like most McFarlanes). Could be way better for 20 bucks. McFarlane should improve. To be honest, I can look past the lack of fists and janky looking articulation, but the physique and head sculpt completely throw off the look for me. I'd give it a very generous 6/10.

My biggest issue with shifting a figures eyes off to one side is that McFarlane keeps not shifting them in the direction of the accessory holding hand. The Dread Pirate Roberts and Inigo from their Princess Bride line, both right handed sword hands, both looking off to the left. Why? Same with this? Why are his eyes looking to his left when his grappling gun is in his right hand? It kinda ruins a really nice figure otherwise.

Only film Ive seen Pattinson is was The Lighthouse, and he did an excellent job in that role. Have no stigma about him personally. I have ALWAYS wanted a DETECTIVE Batman film and the industry has yet to deliver on that, hoping this film will live up to my expectations. This figure has weird proportions and halfbaked articulation as per usual with McFarlane. Shame I have to usually get my DC fix from overseas figure companies.

The fatter looking face jaw area is not D.C. comics Batman I grew up on. I don't think Robert Pattinson looks like a fat guy cosplay in a Batman costume looking like that. I'll have to see. At least I like my many previous comic book renditions of Batman by McFarlane (not Mattel Ben Affleck either). So since I'm not a completionist I'll skip on this until we get a Pattinson less overweight looking Batman in a costumed Batman cosplay!

I thought Warner Brothers executives stating the George Clooney jaw line is more in line with D.C. comics than Michael Keaton's or Val Kilmer's were. Adam West actually had my favorite all time Batman cowl face jaw. I thought Ben Affleck has a better face jaw line. When Robert Pattinson movie preview clip #1 last year debuted I saw a good jaw line (really noticable by clenching teeth going up the Bat rope in that preview). I'll see but this action figure may need some update work as far as representing the actor look.
