There's a steel path mod for each of her weapons, idk if it would be better but it's +330% damage and random stat on heavy with 8x combo

However, 5 statuses for condition overload to exceed higasa pressure is still a hefty thing to consider compared to needing 3 statuses OLD COMMENT: It also replaces Condition Overload. According to the Wiki, Condition Overload is a max of 3 stacks for a total of 240% melee damage. It's better and doesn't require status primer.

​@@SuperShesh2CO gives the damage for EVERY unique status effect on the enemy. A primer can drop 5 or more depending on your builds so yeah no CO isn't going anywhere.

@@kiwi6726there isn’t; Though it is additive to pressure point and this one, so the effect is (normally) reduced. This mod, however, causes random status, and with for example the tennokai discipline mod (tennokai on every 4 hits), you can proc it quite often.

The fact that this weapon is Mastery Rank 2 is impressive, you can be new to the game and get your hands on a Polearm which you could keep all the way up to Steel Path and most likely beyond.

Theres a bunch of weapon options like this. You can be MR0 and get your hands on a good zaw from cetus or kitgun from fortuna. Thanks to the incarnon system many of your early bratons/burstons/latrons/boars/whatevers can stay with you throughout the entire game as well. You used to be able to get duviri meless very early as well but they've moved the duviri quest a bit further up now so thats not the case anymore. Theres also some low mr quest weapons like the xoris and broken war that can take you very far as well

The duviri melees do this even better IMO. Like, Kullervo+the nikana or big nikana+a stance is accessible before the second dream and legitimately kills steel path with a poverty build

For galvanized steel, the reason to still use organ shatter is simple: organ shatter doesn't need to ramp up. galvi steel basicly makes your melee perform terrible until you can get it going , then you only get a 33% increase to crit damage and some spec of crit chance that you then need to babysit. it's usefullness comes fromt he fact it can be used in tandem with organ, and is perfect for those high crit low status weapons that are all about upfront damage. basicly, a contnuation of the new (and highly appreciated) trend of new mods having more dedicated use case rather than just being "number go up"

it's not like you're building up a merciless or something, it's 4 fodder kills. at 3 kills its just organ shatter I do think stacking is also a good idea but lets not pretend its some insane feat to kill 4 enemies with a melee weapon

@@kindredclawthorne it's 4 kills that you still have to maintain, on a weapon that is already balanced by having to ramp up. itÀ's going to feel anemic and then you'll be bound to it. but then again, if you really thing a smidge of crit and 30% more crit damage is worth it....

MR2 weapon or not, this thing scales beautifully - especiually with its unique mod and the new Galv Reflex And/or Boreal's Contempt - a polearm mod that gives 90% melee damage and 60% status damage (and a airborne damage reduction set bonus)

Another biuld that works for this weapon is actually blast it’s not amazing against acolytes but the blast biuld can tear through steel path I was testing on mot and even without fusion strike my caliban was butchering everything with it once it gets ramped up even a full staus biuld like blast is effective part of this though is the absolute busted augment and boreals Comtempt new blast is effective and this weapon can take full advantage
