Prima Arbeit!

Superb model and expertly flown. Take-off well outside of the design parameter of the aircraft and some of the manoeuvres may well have given our Design Engineers heart stopping moments. Never the less a very creditable display of model and flying skill. Bae Engineer.

@@xbpbat21x You never flew in a DC-3 then. Takeoff in one was the tail came up and then the main gear would lift off of the runway. Same with most tail draggers.

@@gravelydon7072 slow it down for slow flight..you'll find that it flies nose hi...i don't have have flown a DC 3 to know this.
@gravelydon70725 жыл бұрын
@@xbpbat21x Then I would suggest that you go fly in a DC-3, a C-46, a Lockheed Constellation or any number of other planes that have propellers. They fly where you point the nose, not nose high at slow speed. Point them nose high at slow speed and they will stall and crash.
@rodbyer24465 жыл бұрын
It appears most folks don't have a clue how hard it must be to fly this, especially in such windy and gusty conditions. The basic design focused on very high speed flight, while the Concorde was much better both at high and very low speeds than the Russian version because its wing was so carefully designed. STILL, it was a handful at low speeds even in relatively calm conditions, and these were hardly calm conditions, so kudos to the pilot for his FIRST FLIGHT with this challenging design, while the camera-person could use some practice, also. Notice how hearty the cheers and applause were when he brought it down in one piece! They knew how challenging that was.
