I have travelled over 20000 km with my Mc Hitch over some of the worst outback roads in Australia and never had one issue

Hello from Australia, will be converting my poly block to a mchitch as they are easier. However, just a tip on poly block if you chamfer the top and bottom of the block you can drive straight up with out getting out and lining it up it will also guide itself in if your to high or to low. Happy camping from Outtaline 4x4 club South Australia

The yellow handle goes all the way down , that way it connects straight up , when you reverse

Got my McHitch from you guys & I love it. Tony, took care of the purchasing process and it went very smoothly.

what is the tow hitch receiver that you are using. You Tow Hitch has a 3 inch mounting plate that allows the Pins on the McHitch receiver to secure to the mounting plate. I have only been able to find tow hitch with 2 in width.

Thank you for showcasing this! When the gentleman showed that hitch out in the snow I was very curious about it.

Could I install this hitch to any travel trailer?

After completing the video I’ll stick with the stock poly block. That’s just me though

I had a Mchitch on my Signature Camper Iridium 15S Hybrid Camper, I found this so easy to use compared to my ball and socket type. Yes, I'm located downunder. Best hitch I've ever used.

The Uni also lowers the risk of death due to being rolled over in the avent of your trailer going over etc. KZbin is full of vehicles getting pulled into a Rollover by their trailers. Great Vid.

I have seen swiveling ball hitches, but only on motorcycle trailers.

Great job, however up and down operation does not work properly when the position of the trolley go left or right more / over 15 deg, It may work perfectly if the point of up/ down rotation is made at the car side . Greeting from TOBA LAKE OF INDONESIA

Why would you bolt on a hitch on a trailer at a angle

How does it actually tow with this hitch?
@82MLPGTS3 жыл бұрын
Very smoothly, with none of the shunting and rattling you can get from a ball hitch.

I live in Australia and am seriously considering getting the McHitch mainly because they look so easy attach and release I will not be using it off road apart from maybe the odd graded gravel road,do you know if anyone has ever had a problem with them getting jammed or hard to release?
@ROAOffRoad4 жыл бұрын
We have never heard of anyone having this issue. We also have not had this problem. Make sure to use a dry lubricant on every trip and it should be fine.
@TheSpousey4 жыл бұрын
Great thanks mate one person told me that he knew someone who had the issue but that is only 1 out of i guess hundreds that have been sold maybe they did not use the dry lube,I asked you because you probably have sold a few and i thought you would have heard if there had any issues.@@ROAOffRoad
@ROAOffRoad4 жыл бұрын
@@TheSpousey Yes, we have sold around 40 already. I have not heard that yet. I am sure we will know more in the next year or so. We got a shipment of 500 coming to the US. People are loving it. The thing we have noticed is if it is not lubed regularly it doesn't latch in as easily...

What brand sway control do you have to use on that type hitch.
@lynngatlin44694 жыл бұрын
@@PawwsomeAdventures why is that what keeps it from swaying
@lynngatlin44694 жыл бұрын
@@PawwsomeAdventures well on a ball hitch to keep a trailer from swaying say from going down an interesting an big trucks coming by or passing one an or a side wind an the trailer goes to swaying from side to side. There several sway bars to put on one Anderson makes one but they are strictly for ball type hitches. All I was asking is there a sway bar to use on this type hitch to stop swaying
@lynngatlin44694 жыл бұрын
@@PawwsomeAdventures you still have to drive down roads I know the trailer is for off road but you have to drive from state to state to get to places you want to go. I want to go to Alaska that three or four thousand miles away. There is no trail that long no where. You have to get on the road sometimes. Do you work for this dealer.
@ROAOffRoad4 жыл бұрын
Hey Harold, sorry we have been MIA since the video went up. There is an adapter that you can buy with the McHitch that will allow you to pretty much use any Weight distribution hitch. We just barely started using the McHitch and have not actually used a WD hitch on it yet. I know some people have used Reese and other brands. But the adapter should allow most WDs. If you check out McHitch site you can see the adapter they use. Let me know if that makes sense now? 😁
@lynngatlin44694 жыл бұрын
@@ROAOffRoad thank you some guy tried to treat me like a dummy an say it's just a off road rig. I guess you read all his comments. You still got to get from a to b an I was sure there was some kind of sway control to match this hitch. I love the hitch after seeing them I'd not have nothing else. So thanks for the response.

The cross and bearings awful damn tight. Then the locking connection to the truck is damn trashy.
@__lancaster4 жыл бұрын
Huh? The locking connection is rock solid. You obviously have never seen one up close. Brilliant design.
@82MLPGTS3 жыл бұрын
1. Yes, fairly tight by hand when new... but your trailer/caravan won't have much trouble exerting more force than your hands can. 2. When reversing on in the video, notice the handle was up: no-no #1. When the handle is down like it's meant to be, it grabs every time.
