As a police officer, I have worked from time to time, in the past, with the FBI on criminal cases. The majority of "real cops" refer to them, to this day, as The Federal Bureau of Idiots! Most of them have "no clue" how to conduct a criminal investigation. In fact; the vast majority of training videos we watched regarding; officer safety issues, were from FBI agents being killed/injured in the line of duty. Because; they had no clue how to approach dangerous situations. Yet, they sure like to "preen" around like little peacocks, thinking they are superior to real police officers. They are far from it, The Larry Nassar case is but one of the myriad of screw-ups, they perform regularly! That is known as... A FACT!!!

I don't think it's fair to point fingers like that at law enforcement, you can't expect them to throw anyone in prison over allegations made against them. They need to collect physical evidence to corroborate your claims, they have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that indeed the accused is guilty as charged. We know women and girls sometimes make false rape allegations, which is why it's important that due deligence is observed. Any one accused of any crime deserves a fair trial, part of being fair is being able to prove a crime has been committed and by the accused. Which is why if you are a victim of sexual abuse, it's important to report it right away, don't wait days or weeks or months. Don't change clothes, don't bathe or shower and get yourself to the nearest police station or hospital so that a rape kit can be obtained. It doesn't prove much but it atleast shows that sexual contact was made. Sexual crimes will always be hard to prove especially between adult but that's no one's fault.

The Senate asked these gymnasts to testify (Simone Biles, Mckayla Maroney, Maggie Nichols, and Aly Raisman). These four gymnasts are Olympic gold-medalists, which is probably why they were chosen to speak about their own abuse and on behalf of hundreds of Nassar's other victims. And yes, we keep hearing about this over and over and over because nothing is really being done to address their underlying concerns. These four gymnasts as well as many of Nassar other victims have repeatedly asked for full investigations into USA Gymnastics, the US Olympic committee and the FBI. If you look at the video of Aly Raisman's statement, you'll hear her say that hopefully this time the investigations they've been requesting will actually happen. If not, we may continue to hear about this over and over again.
