You know I’m a big fan of yours. This review test is “almost” legit😂😂. Ive always said when products perform similarly then price comes into play. You compared this to DIY and Labocosmetica. So let’s take it a step further. These are prices by the gallon or in Labo’s case liter(Italians don’t do gallons😂) which is 1.2 gallons. DIY $50, Labo $63, McKees $70 So for me DIY is still the King. Long live the King! I do love the way you dog the drying towel…but kept using it😂😂

914 works great as a paint prep/drying aid hybrid when diluted 8:1. Lubricates AND helps strip polishing oils & waxes, unlike a traditional IPA that offers zero lubrication. I’ve used it after many paint correction sessions and have had zero issues with it leaving behind anything. It also works great to clean door jams with a brush since it still foams up a tad but doesnt require rinsing.

Its interesting I had no issue with v1. But I spray 2 panels at a time. Bit I did need some drying aid more for slickness. Now my city water here is not terribly hard. And where I live in Canada not as hot as where you are in summer. Never tried to foam it. This is why I tell people buy a smaller bottle to try and if you like it then go big, if not you haven’t lost as much.

I don't get the Idrosave kick. I started making a video on it yesterday and it started out well on a fairly clean SUV but I found the solution didn't emulsify anything on the one vehicle that had road film from driving in rain on the highway. All I got in the end was a black sponge. Even rocked the jug I have to make sure it was all mixed prior.

I’ve used almost a gallon never had what your experiencing , it cleans as good as diy even did a video on the road film I had on the car cakes on , cleaned a dirty truck no issue. Never had a issue with polymer in the bucket

@Ecdetails I'm hoping this was a one off experience I had, but will keep trying the product. It literally worked so bad on the obe car that I sprayed the area behind the back tire and the idrosave just sheeted right off the surface, leaving the film behind. I got so tired of it that by the time I washed the trunk area, I just used the sponge as though it was a suds wash. Will keep using it to see if maybe some oil got sprayed onto the car as I was driving and this was a one off.

I've only ever used Griot's Garage (blue label) and CarPro ECH2O, how would you say this compares? Personally I found CarPro to be a lot better (more suited to a coated car), but Griot's to be a LOT cheaper. I buy one product and use it til it's done, because I've got very limited space for my barrage of car products and tools, so I'm considering McKee's or DIY next. As I'n just doing my own car and my parents, not doing a business where time is money, cost saving is a lot more important than time saving for me, so a price edge means a lot.

The mixture is not 256:1, you added 1 oz per gallon? Most rinseless is mixed 1/2 oz. per gallon??? So what is the proper mix of this product for rinseless?

Huh 256:1 is 1 oz per 2 gallons , I had 3 gallons in the bucket so 1 1/2 oz is what I used if you want waterless per mckees 1 oz per gallon if you want a panel prep which I would never do it’s 1 oz per 8oz of water - hope this helps
