This McKenzie exercise typically gives relief of shoulder pain. Often the exercise produces pain that reduces and it better on repetition.
The structure altered by the McKenzie exercise is thought to be the labrum inside the shoulder, which can become deranged and "pinched" within the knee. The exercise reduces the derangement and is commonly effective.
As with all McKenzie exercises you should see a qualified McKenzie practitioner to ensure the exercise is appropriate for your condition.

This and the other standing lumbar mckenzie extension video were extremely effective. Thanks! The knees straight & arms straight during those extensions which you stated helped me much better. Wish you have a great day!

I used his neck method years ago..I do believe it worked...can't seem to fix my shoulder

Poor carol. I had shoulder issues from holding my ipad as anereader for too many hours. Resolved it using the Robin McKenzie Method. Its actually neck stretches & easy to do. Thanks Devang. It is certainly not the answer for all shoulders and they have various directions possible as the "direction preference". See Scott Herbowy on google for a good clip on the most frequently seen shoulder derangement patterns
