John McMurry the legend! He has written the best organic chemistry book for undergrad students

Thank you! You are solidifying my ochem knowledge for the MCAT. Speaking of, I would be so curious how well you could do on the MCAT with no prep lol. That would be a fun video as I’m sure many of your viewers are pre med students.

Haha just take it cold and see what happens? That would be funny I suppose.

Is there any way I can save all of your videos in case they somehow get deleted or you remove your channel? I’d like to watch all of the math classes and eventually all the others as well, I’m just scared of opening KZbin one day and not finding your channel lolol

Please explain to me what plants in general what plants do. I'm under the assumption from what I have been taught that plants eat nitrogen and produce oxygen thru photosynthesis am I wrong

Sorry, but why is Ti (I) formed when Ti(II) bonds to the oxygen? Wouldn't it make more sense for a Ti(III) to form?

Alas, Professor Dave's journey through the fascinating world of synthetic chemistry has left me at the bus stop. These are great tutorials for someone who is interested in becoming a chemist, but this engineer is left to watch and absorb, rather than to listen and apply. Keep up the great work, Professor Dave!

I discovered your channel 2 days ago and I have to say I love your videos. They kinda bring back childhood memories of my father teaching me about geography, biology and astronomy which were very interesting to a kid. Thank you Professor. Question: Can you make a video about the simulation hypothesis? I think it would be a very interesting video and I have to admit I'd like to hear your opinion about this topic.

God dave this still looks so complex to me :( iv done nothing but read my organic textbook for the past 2 days in a worry about 2nd year organic chemistry 🥲 it all just clicks at some point doesn't it? Please say yes
@Expresso522 жыл бұрын
Good luck! Organic chemistry was pretty notorious for being a difficult subject to grasp for most students within my study. Doing exercises consistently helped me to finally pass jt

@@Expresso52 yes definitely, I find repetition helps information stick. I think having a sieve for a brain doesn't help either 😔
