Fun fact: KZbinr Arandom toaster attempted to beat, "picking a favourite snack" without a powerup. He was almost able to do it, although he did get stuck at, I believe, the part immediatly after the bubble guns. I can't remember for sure though

My least favorite galaxy has to be dreadnought. One of the stars involves just waiting on a platform until you reach the end, another one of those god awful trash destroying stars, and a repeat of the easiest boss in the game. It just feels like a worse version of battlerock which is such a shame since its the final unlockable galaxy in the game not counting the star festival.

It seems you an I have differing opinions on this. While yes, some of the missions can feel monotonous, I personally love the challenge it brings and the first mission especially I love.

Well, I like this game a lot and most of the galaxies I genuinely enjoy. So I'll be defending them whilst I watch this video. These are my opinions to an extent. Sorry if it sounds harsh. This is pretty much me being a devil's advocate Honorable Mention: Flipswitch Galaxy. eh, this should probably be in the top 10. This galaxy shouldn't exist, just replace this with the secret section in good egg in the 1st mission. Compared to the other galaxies, this is a tiny bit lackluster. I like the atmosphere though. #10: Wait why is dusty dune shown here? Or is that an editing mistake? I didn't really forget this mission. I thought it had a nice ring to it. I also like the aesthetic of the main planet, it looks pretty nice. They give the choice cuz that's the point of the level. I think they kept that boo mushroom there to make sure you dont get too comfortable. just making it more dynamic probably. Also if you fall off the ring section, you're a skill issue. that's not the game's fault. This stage is very appealing to me tbh. I just wish they made the background different, and maybe not the space athletic theme. I just hate that one #9: I found this one enjoyable. I don't think it should get that much hate. That being said, this level feels like it fits a lot more in galaxy 2. Also you can't really cheese that, you have a limited flying time. There is plenty to see in honeyclimb. (star bit sequences) #8: WHAT? HOW IS THIS ONE HERE? This doesn't make any sense at all. Sure, this one is a bit more linear compared to other galaxies and it may only have one star revolving around the actual mansion, but when the other stars are decent fun that isn't too much of an issue. I do think this galaxy suffers from a bad secret star mission. It is definitely fun, but belongs more in matter splatter than ghostly. The secret star should be inside the mansion, not in the middle of space. Also, bouldergeist is still relatively challenging. no need to brag. This is definitely not one of the stronger 3 star galaxies, but definitely not the worst. Also the mission where you rescue luigi from the mansion is one of the best in the game. #7 BRUH DEEP DARK WAS PRETTY GOOD, BETTER THAN GHOSTLY FOR SURE! oh phew, my bad. Well I like bigmouth a bit. Also this galaxy is not tiny, its pretty big in size. And if you like exploration, try doing some tricky jumps to get on top of the planet. Also the bubble blastoff mission was my favorite from Deep Dark. the theme of deep dark is that it is a mysterious space cove which contains spooky and startling secrets, and you unlock it by using powerups. It makes sense throughout the mission. I thought it was a great change of pace and challenge too. Well overall, Bigmouth isn't a bad galaxy, in fact its pretty fun. It just doesn't have enough compared to the other one star galaxies. I can understand this being in the worst galaxies list, but give it some respect #6: Really? Dusty dune as one of the worst? It has a lot more and plenty of interesting things to do. The most overhated galaxy in this game. Sure you replay the 2nd mission FOUR times, but ignoring that and just looking at star 1, star 3 and green star are proofs that this is an enjoyable galaxy for sure. The level design here is great. I dont get any of these complaints. This is probably the best desert level in mario history. It only lacks atmosphere, music and a boss and maybe only needed 4 stars instead of 7. Also sandblast speedrun was pretty hard for me. Mainly because of that obnoxious pull star section. Dusty dune isn't that boring. Dusty dune isn't easy by any means too. Dusty dune also isn't forgettable. The cool 2d section and final capsule planet are testaments to that. #5 eh fair enough. still solid fun. just doesn't have enough going for it. Also the bone things on the outside are technically their own planets. Give it some respect too. otherwise i kinda agree with the rest #4. Drip drop is a great track. It's beautiful, atmospheric and mysterious. I like it a lot. I dont know why so many people hate on this galaxy. Maybe I have too much nostalgia bias. Also the interior of the planet looks really cool. I got distracted by that a lot. #3. I can see why some people hate this level. BUT if we ignore the fact that it is reskinned honeyhive, the 2nd and 3rd missions are really well made tbh. The 1st mission i can understand, but these galaxies have 3 stars for a reason. The missions in this galaxy are NOT linear. You just hated on ghostly galaxy for it being linear and not finding new things. At least gold leaf has that weird question coin under the ledge, an extremely difficult one up to get to, plenty of fun vertical platforming and the first mission has you explore the place again. what the heck is the issue here? The only linearity I sense here are the two comets. And those were still really fun anyways, especially the purple coin one. Nothing unique? cataquacks, the new and better boss, a fresh secret star. Nothing enjoyable? Was climbing up that well made obstacle course not fun? The cataquack gimmick too? #2. Aight imma be honest here, i wont defend this one. This is my least favorite and the objective worst. My only complaint is that this awful load of garbage isnt 1st. Also the star is pretty hard. On your first playthrough, without any outside knowledge, this star is actually impossible to get I would say. That's what makes it god awful. Another redeeming quality about perhaps the worst level of all time is that "if you ignore all the other galaxies in this game, snow cap is the best galaxy in the game" #1. Sea Slide galaxy? hmm. I would say that out of the 15 main galaxies, this one was the worst, it was mediocre. This however, does not deserve to be called the worst in the entire game. That should go to snow cap for sure. At least the 2nd mission, secret star and 3rd mission are fun. I don't get why people hate the 3rd mission. It doesn't take that long, and I enjoy the charm that the bees bring, and the placements of the silver stars aren't too bad. I also like you can visit the main planet. Pretty fun mission overall. The only bad thing is that silver star on top of the giant tree. That one is a tiny bit tedious. To be fair, the cosmic comet actually adds some difficulty. The cloud flower is bad btw. It doesn't feel like a mario galaxy powerup, its a bit overpowered. But yes, I will agree that sea slide's purple coins is the 2nd worst mission in the game (behind stupid star bunnies in the snow). The amount of time, how boring it is, the disgusting purple backdrop and the repetition of the silver star mission + the star placement is just horrendous. This takes close to an hour to get. well that's the end. I like the music selection for the video tbh. Except for the sand spiral one, that doesn't make too much sense. This would probably be my least favorite galaxies in the game #1. Snow Cap (sorry for cursing) #2. Rolling Gizmo (It isn't bad by any means, no. It's actually fun. But infuriating. And I feel like it doesn't have that much compared to others.) #3. Hurry Scurry. (perfected in sea slide. shouldn't exist) #4. Slingpod. (Isn't bad, i like the slingpod gimmick. I just don't think you need a whole galaxy around it. Pull stars alone would be better) #5. Loopdeloop. (not hard by any means, is fun, but not as fun compared to the rest. that's the main notable thing here. also a lot better later on) #6. Rolling Green. (oddly memorable. i didn;t like this place as a kid. that's why. still fun ig.) #7. Flipswitch. (Well its tiny. that's why its here) #8. Bigmouth. (hmm. its great. but being great isn't good enough for the insane quality of these galaxies) #9. Honeyclimb. (Yeah, it is certainly fun. really fun. just lacks atmosphere. I like the music theme a lot though. Very nostalgic and great remix. I think the final mandibug section wasn't particularly interesting though. Just lacks the substance compared to others better than it.) #10. Sea Slide. (Like i said, this is the worst out of the main 15 galaxies. It's mediocre all things considered, but being bigger helps it. I also appreciate exploratory levels in this game a lot. But that purple coin mission...) also thanks for not putting grand finale on the list. That gets way more hate than it deserves. Just hearing the star festival music enough makes it worth playing through the game twice. at the time, it was the perfect way to round off the game.

Great video! First of all, you can kil the jellyfish with Koopa shells, the big ones take 2 hits. Second of all, my favourite place to go on vacation is Australia And last, my least favourite galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy is grand finale Galaxy. Doesn’t seem like a grand finale to me.
