Hi Phil. Am loving your videos. I hate being this guy but a 10:52 you come across Caridale Road. It’s actually Carldale Road named after my Uncle. As I remember he built the road and there were beautiful homes down there, including his and my Aunts.

Hi there! Oh, it must have been a typo. Normally I draw all the signs based on the video footage and using Google Earth/Maps but I must have made a mistake during that one. Sorry bout that! That's quite the history there, thanks for the info! Glad you're enjoying the videos. I'm on a bit of a hiatus making new ones but I'm hoping to get back now that things are settling down for me at work! Cheers :-)

Regarding the AADT, for that section it is actually 7,200. At 28,000 the intersections would be dangerously congested and everything would need interchanges...

Man you almost brought tears to my eyes with your videos of Edmonton and the ones to Edson-Hinton-Jasper. Can't wait to watch the Icefields Parkway next! I drove this route back in april 2015 and then probably again in november this year and june next year. With your videos, i feel like i'm there right now, thank you! Cheers from Switzerland

+Trans Canada Phil Oh absolutely. We have some pretty stunning roads in the mountains but nothing beats the Icefields Parkway. I just hope for better weather next time, we couldn't even see the glacier, and the Sunwapta falls and all the lakes were still frozen one year ago today. The morning we left Banff towards Calgary was absolutely beautiful, blue skies and everything, i can only imagine what the Parkway is like without a single cloud :-)
