Well said. I think Johnson knows that he isn't up to AFL level yet, but when the team is decimated by injuries they have to pick someone. Maybe in a couple of years Ash will feature every week? No point rubbing salt in a wound when he really hasn't played many games at AFL level. Smart coaching.

Get used to it 💪💞🌠 it's what makes our Club very special and makes it the more monumental when we Triumph against all the odds. We didn't lose a Game in 7 weeks, with limited personnel and we haven't even got out of second gear yet. This team has tremendous upside potential and is primed for the remainder of this season. Player cant just have the ball in hand champ. Bontempelli was taken apart by Warner in the previous game. And negated by the Bloods midfield. He kicked one point in that game. @@paulmatters2641 So the best team and midfield in the comp was able to slow him down as a collective (Bont will still probably poll 1 or 2 Brownlow votes in that match), but it's solely Daicos's fault for not stopping Bont, rightttt. You clearly only looked at the stat sheet and didn't watch last night or even listen to this presser, otherwise you would've known Bont and Daicos didn't directly play on each other. The pies midfield as a whole got beaten by the doggies mids last night, not only Daicos, but sure kid, blame it all on one player 🙄

He was pointing at the VFL young kids to take him. Bontempelli out marked the kid off the bench in the critical last quarter for the killer goal. As i said weak as.

He was also top 5 in pressure acts last night, and has been top 5 in pressure acts in the last month of games as well (could be more, but I only went back a month). Also, it's hard to get tackles on the stat sheet when Mcreery had 14 of those things and took them all 😅. Off-night defensively? Perhaps, but with the team they had, you can't expect him to do everything (although you would, because Daicos haters will find any excuse). Also, because you didn't watch the game, a side-note; Daicos was being 'tagged' all night. It's a bit difficult to defend the best player in the league when someone is practically on you the whole time. Bont had the luxury of not being tagged.
