In Verona, the innovative architecture of a newly constructed villa challenges and surpasses the past within a contemporary setting, where the solid and full geometries of the volumes blend with the lines and lightness of the interior spaces.
Built in nine months, according to the design by Federico Cappellina & Partners Architects, this residence arises from the intersection of two main axes that, through a geometric interplay of solids and voids, create two opposite façades: on one side, an austere front without windows separates the private space from the urban context, while on the other, the rear façade, framing the interior spaces in view, opens directly onto the garden. Solidity and lightness, fullness and emptiness, inside and outside, contrasts merge into a formal unity aimed at enhancing not only the architectural layout but above all the compositional harmony of the spaces and details, framed by the large perimeter windows around which the entire design revolves.
The motorized windows, flush with the floor and featuring fingerprint opening, eliminate the boundary between indoor and outdoor, while the modern and minimalist furniture defines and shapes the settings, which from the outside appear as contemporary scenes of domestic life. The living solutions thus define the elegant style of the home, meeting the desires and needs of the owners. The entrance, located at the intersection of the compositional geometries, leads to the large open space within the first large volume, which houses the living area and kitchen. Both spaces overlook the garden and pool, extending into the relaxation area outside, next to the large window. The second volume, situated in a more secluded position, houses the sleeping area: the master bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet, contemplates the view of the garden.
Privacy throughout the building is ensured by practical motorized blinds, and LED lights create suggestive and scenic lighting effects. The design of the residence is also highlighted in the bathrooms and service areas, as well as in the innovative photovoltaic and ventilation systems, which, along with thermal insulation and double-glazed windows, ensure clean energy throughout the year and constant air sanitization and purification.

This house looks like someone decided to play sims for the first time. Thanks god, this person was a minimalism style lover. Luckily, in 21 century it's not necessary to pay for the kind of design which is usual for each hospital or school because it's literally everywhere. The person who made it could bring some personal vision to upgrade it,but nope. He enjoys getting money for bringing conformism to it's new level - making personal spaces looking like public spaces. Who have to live there? This person I guess, who else.
