MD, remember the like “brown algae” on the wood in one of your tanks. I commented on one of your videos and was hoping you saw it, but it is a bacterial build up because the bacteria is feeding on the nutrients in the wood. If enough builds up it will kill the plants because of lack of light. But i found that rams horn snails remove it really easily.

Hello MD! I'm planning on getting my first betta and I'm wondering if a 40L tank is big enough for the betta and some black tetras?

Best thing about your videos is the fact you show all the mishaps and tanks being dirty /hazy and some clumsy stuff because it's the way this hobby is for most people

THANK YOU SO MUCH MD! Literally was waiting for a new vid to get me through the mid-week and here it is 5 minutes ago. Btw i am so happy you headhunted Matt and can't wait to see more of you two brilliant blokes. Just did a greening aquascape inspired by the ADG's Masterclass episode and filled it with Pygmies and Amanos!

This is actually one of the best scapings you've done. It's not overcrowded with plants, you can actually see and understand everything, and there's plenty of space for the fish to swim.

Beautiful! Think this is your best one yet. It looks 10x better then your "more complicated" archer scape because you can still see some of the hard scape features

I think this is one of my very favorite tanks that you have created. I love the openness of it with the wood feature really giving the look of a bonsai tree. I love the fish that you selected for it too - they all look so good together. Great job!!

I adore corys and Endlers - both are so playful! A joy to watch! I've got panda corys, but it doesn't really matter which as they are all fun. (And cute!) I have a group of male Endlers Livebearers in with them and I couldn't love them all more ❤ This tank set-up is perfect - it shows them all off brilliantly. 🙂

Love this tank! Please show us how the Monte Carlo does with it's growth and everything else. To many of us this is still a lot of plants but I like that's it's something we can replicate without needing special substrate and anything for the harder to grow or crazy amount of plants. Also the hard scapes are not that big so it should be simpler things that a lot of us can find without having to find massive pieces of wood or special types of rocks. Great job!
@l33t1ee7 Жыл бұрын
I want to build something like this. It's clean and not too much going on. Good midscape which comes from the bottom of the tank and open enough for fish to swim through.

once i'm no longer renting i need a big tank again for those corys. they are so beautiful and loved watching them moving them through the tank. totally unexpected they started even breeding but didn't have any tanks ready to take out the eggs or fry so that failed in the end

Honestly, after building my first aquarium this one is way more affordable, I spent a great amount of money and got like 10 small Anubias LOL. I would need at least 5x times the amount I spent to get a decent planted but I am planning for the future and I will be getting new Anubias from these I planted. This aquarium is way more reasonable in terms of cost. And gotta be honest it's really beautiful!

Focal length really is trippy. I was like "that looks small for a group of corys" and then you changed angles and mentioned it was a 2ft. And also, semantically, substrate can just mean any bottom layer.

I have watched the ADG video multiple times now, and I don't think I have enjoyed anything more lately as much as seeing you with Jeff Senske as he was noticably in the zone or the flow state !!!! I always get the sense watching the professionals over the years I have been a golf caddy and I have been reluctant to even make a sound of any kind for the potential of the very opposite of the zone. So when you made that beginning comment about what you were seeing and how Jeff said..." How he was just trying to describe the way....... That was a close call but then after you said MILLENNIUM FALCON 🫣 I have to say that you broke any tension right The Hell outta the room and I have a feeling that you're connection to Jeff is a great friend and I don't think too many can say that.
