I get the whole "don't judge a book by it's cover" thing, but then they find out that he did the kind of thing only a pompous rich d-bag would do. Any sane woman would have given up on him then and there, divorced him if they were married, taking half of what little he has, sued him for the rest, and moved on to someone she can actually trust.

Although I did have my first date 5 years ago when I was 22. 2. It’s not like many girls have an interest in me anyway which isn’t the end of the world because living life is doing what gives you joy, not companionship; companionship is only a contributing factor to having happiness in life, not a 100 percent happiness. 3. I take things very seriously and often think a relationship might distract me. Back in highschool a classmate of mine asked if I could be her boyfriend for a week. I told her “Will dating you get my grades up?” She said “No”. Then I said “Then no. We have better things to do right now; things that will determine our future. In 10th grade I went to a concert and one girl asked me out but I lied to let her off easy because I wanted to save her life.

If the patient can't talk or anybody else can't tell the MRI tech then they will not scan if they do not know what type of implant is in the patient

An MRI magnet is not just active when it's on, the magnet is strong and dangerous all the time: when you go for an MRI test, you have to remove all metal before you get anywhere near it. If they bring one in a trailer, you can't have any metal in the trailer: you can't sit on the MRI bed and remove your jewelry. As the character says, it would remove it for you. And not gently. What she doesn't mention is, it would probably remove your fingers in the process.

I totally get how she can be so blind...... It starts slowly.... Constant calls asking about your welfare.... You think.... Wow he is so caring..... That implant wouldn't be pulled out like that, since biomedical implants are not allowed to contain ferromagnetic materials. It would, however, stop working almost instantaneously and become extremely hot due to the induced current along its choke and antenna. If he was gonna spring for something that ridiculously expensive, he should have gone the extra mile and thrown in a vital signs monitor.

Why wouldn't they have done an X-ray first? After an accident one is usually examined for bone damage first, this "RFID" would been seen in an x-ray without causing the physical pain.

I think they think, due to the nature of the car accident, that her symptoms preceded the accident and there might be some neurological issue.

@@Jermbot15 Doesn't matter, if you're in an accident involving one or two vehicles, X-rays are the First things done to ensure no bone, spine, lungs, neck or cerebral damage is done. If they x-ray the lungs looking for rib damage, they could've seen it then. I saw a few episodes and they never worried about medical accuracy.

@@djs12007 Hey kid, you asked a question that indicated you were confused about the information available. I answered your question in good faith because you seem very clueless and I like to help. If your ultimate goal was to be the random person on the internet trying to provide medical advice you could have just done that without falsely presenting the impression that you cared about the information in the clip you're watching. If I, however, am ever in a car accident and feel the need to go to the hospital, I'll probably just let the doctors in the emergency room or walk-in clinic decide if I need an X-Ray first or at all.

@@Jermbot15 well, "Kid", nowhere in my post do I give any kind of medical advice, I have several friends that work as EMT's. and it is standard practice to do x-rays of traffic accident casualties, whether they are seriously injured or not. Neck, spine and Lung injuries can easily be overlooked without x-rays being done.

@@djs12007 Sure you did. Your advice was, in the event of a two automobile crash, to get an x-ray to check for damage to bone, spine, lungs, neck or "cerebral damage." I can only assume you changed format from listing vague anatomy to providing adjectives because you couldn't think of the word 'cerebrum.' My advice will continue to be to trust decisions about courses of medical treatment and diagnosis to someone whose educational requirements go beyond a two semester course. Seriously, firefighters learn how to do your job in their down time. You're not a paramedic, you're not a nurse, you know about as much about treatment and diagnostics as a dogwalker who watched half a season of Grey's Anatomy. But I'm glad I gave you a platform to lecture about what you've learned as an EMT.

This... is exactly why I intend on getting a tattoo done... I've got skull pins and a plate due to surgery i had as a child. [90s] and i've had more than enough doctors who supposedly have read my file. recommend an MRI for something or other. scary scary and that is terrifying! not to mention absolutely disgusting that's not love, that is "My property" vile! absolutely vile!
