Your guys are doing things WE could only ever dream about. Adventure motorcycling is hard and a challenge, takes a lot of practice to master, for many the reality is we either don't have the time or the finances, or even a motorcycle, to put in that time with family or work commitments. You are doing well. One thing to note about the high camp site is the wind turbines in the distance. Those are put there because THERE IS WIND!

Jammy gits is very apt. Glad you made that sound judgement. What terrific little bikes they are. Honda should be subbing you. Incredible scenery. I used to live in southern Spain and I always looked at the plethora of trails everywhere. Alas am too old now😂. Puerto Ventana. “Windy place”. I ve only had the is it a wasp or a fly crawling in my ear and helmet. It’s freak out time. Hard to pull up safely

15:08 Mitch asks what people do in Spanish villages to sustain their lives. The sad fact is that the vast majority of young people emigrate to the vibig cities for work, maintaining the ancestral homes in the villages as holiday or weekend accommodation. Their parents and grandparents stay on in the villages, and live off their pensions. A lot of the lower paid agricultural jobs are done by immigrants, mainly from Romania, some Ukrainians, and a lot from North Africa. That's what is keeping the rural communities going. There have even been initiatives where local councils will take on abandoned dwellings, reclaim them and renovate them, and offer them to immigrants on condition that they settle and raise their families in the villages. Sounds like a good deal to me!

I've had bees fly into my helmet and crawl around on the visor, a wasp fly into my jacket coz I had it unzipped in summer and it bit me 5 times on the chest, any number of locusts target me at speed and a couple of juicy large bogong moths splatter themselves on visor & jacket. All part of the joy of riding. 🤣🤣🤣

I had a cockroach crawling around in my bike jacket once, noticed it when it started crawling down my arm. I always check my boots and jacket before putting them on now.

Hi Guys, really enjoying your vlogs and trips.😁👍 But one question keeps coming to my mind, is why is Martha riding the Rally and not the 300L? As the Rally is physically larger, carries more fuel and is heavier than the 300L. The 300L would be much more confidence inspiring for Martha, due to the narrower seat, etc. But great job you two! 😃👍🎄

Hey, when we bought the Rally it had already been modified as the previous owner was a short rider, so suspension, seat, lowering link were all added. Mitch also has an upgraded fuel tank so his now carries the most fuel out of the two too.

Dunno how far you guys are but consider the Portugal adventure country track route. It's big bike friendly and goes the length of Portugal. Not as hard as the TET but just as beautiful. Message me if you need the GPX file/route. It's awesome. Goes from Braganca down to Tavira. Would be perfect for you I think. All the best. Jim. Uk.
